How to counter short-term and long-term side effects from tropane alkaloids? (feeling drunk/stupid, memory loss)

Aside from the obvious option of simply staying away from tropane plants.

A few skilled people do work with brugmansia, datura and the other family members after all (despite their reputation) so I assume those who very carefully and respectfully work with them might have some experience on how to minimize the negative effects, either herbally or otherwise.

Using minor amounts only and an extremely gradual approach is a given but what else?

Would Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors apply here?

I've seen people who take them repeatedly over time not do so well.

You can't unring a bell...

That said neurotropic and neuroprotective agents might help.
Likewise mental exercises like puzzles, memory games, reading challenging books etc can increase remaining and existing brainpower.

Well as scopolamine is the best medicine known today against motion sickness, there have been numerous tries to counter some of its negative sideeffects.

E.g. a well known combination is with d-amph.

But as a study in 2016 has shown, combining modafinil with it works just as well

Quote:
The efficacy of scopolamine with modafinil (1 + 10 mg/kg) was equivalent to that of scopolamine with d-amphetamine (1 + 1 mg/kg); This combination also excited central nervous system and abolished the anxiety caused by scopolamine.

Here the study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27160425
I claim not that this is the truth. As this is just what got manifested into my mind at the current position in time on this physical plane. So please feel not offended by anything I say.

What's the closest prescription-free (pharmaceutical or natural) equivalent?
