I'm currently taking Parnate, an MAOI. There are references all over the internet discussing the effects of an MAOI on DMT usage, as well as its role in different methods of use. I feel like I have read, read, and read some more but I can't find the answer to this question:

Can someone who is already using an MAOI safely vape crystal form DMT?

I have found many references that 'almost' answer this question, but I have only found one example of someone who takes Parnate and uses DMT here. This one case seems encouraging since it is one example of someone whose circumstances (regular Parnate) match my own, with the added bonus of dosage -- the dosage described is quite a bit heavier than my own. However, in this case, it seems that the Parnate may even be having a deadening effect on the experience. I'd message them directly, but it doesn't look like they've logged-in recently, and I figure I'd probably have better odds asking here.

Even with that reference, given that 'getting it wrong' could leave me with one of two outcomes:

1. Serotonin Syndrome - NO FUN.
2. Death - EVEN LESS FUN.

I find myself a little nervous to move forward while still on Parnate. I'm hoping that someone here can tell me, "If your dose is X, and your weight is Y, then you're good to go. Also, I have an MD or a PhD next to my name -- I'm not just speculating." Not that I want to disrespect all of those of you that put time in to help those of us who are new. I am grateful for all of the material and experience written here and elsewhere that I've paid nothing for but that has been tremendously beneficial to me.

I'm just a little bit nervous because of #1 and #2 above.

So, my plan is to temporarily discontinue the Parnate, and then resume later on. Unless, of course, one of you super helpful folks out there could provide to some direction to this 100kg male that takes 30mg/day of Parnate and will likely go with 10-20mg of vaped DMT.
