Hello

I thought I would write a little about my background and the kind of things that interest me relating to exploration into other realms of consciousness.

I began lucid dreaming at a very young age. I remembers treading water in the air one day and realising I must be in a dream as flying is impossible and then flying to a nearby woods and holding onto a tree for dear life and waking because of the excitement.

It wasn’t until my teenage years (after reading a book by Carlos castinada) that I realised that I could induce lucid dreams at will with practice (in this case seeing my hands in my dreams)

At this same period I began experimenting with hallucinations, namely LSD, psilocybin, MDMA, amphetamine and skanky seedy old pot.

In later years and after viewing the film inception I increased my practice of lucid dreaming to a nightly event and began experimenting with various dreaming herbs and supplements. Of which Galanamine, alpha gpc, 5htp, vitamin b6, huperzine A we’re found most effective.

I became very advanced at the practice of lucid dreaming and was now able WILD (transition from the waking state to the dream state while conscious) fairly regularly and there was little I couldn’t do within this realm. Thanks to my obsession and enthusiasm to explore and bring back songs art and stories from this realm.

After a difficult break up with my one true love I began smoking pure skunk weed in a dark room and soon began to make this a weekly practice. I would focus intently of his physical health during this difficult time and began practicing sexual abstinence to increase my mood and energy levels.

I found with each journey that he could go deeper and deeper into his unconscious mind. Utilising breathing techniques, resonance chanting (a kind of self taught throat singing tequnique) rocking, and ritualistic idol worship. I found great healing and eventually a full kundalini awakening.

To reach such places took an incredible amount of preparation focus and luck but now I had had a taste of the timeless bliss my life would forever be dedicated realising this ultimate destination and dared to imagine the possibility that I had perhaps only scratched the surface. So much respect and gratitude I have for my first and truly beloved plant teacher Marijuana.

At this stage I began to learn of other plant teachers and of course tales of the mother Ayahuasca began to fill my consciousness. I was certain I wanted to meet such a teacher, I knew that a deeper healing was still required to resolve the issues I pretended did not exist. Pornography addiction, social anxiety and depression which I believed also manifested itself into physical ailments like inflammation low immune system and fatigue.

I planned an Ayahuasca journey and began a 2 week dieta with Ajo Sachs eating nothing but plain boiled white rice, plantain, boiled eggs and chicken. I bathed in baths of AS for the duration and noticed how my senses became highly accute to the effect that the smell of washing powder nearly nocked me out in the local supermarket.

During the duration of the dieta I experienced beautiful spontaneous lucid dreams and at one stage was blessed with the presence of the spirit of the plant, a beautiful Angelic being of brilliant glowing light who had the warmth and love of your most favourite Nan. I was so touched by this dream and the dieta made me feel so amazing I considered backing out of the ayahuasca ceremony. I was now seeing the worlds beauty with new eyes, the trees had there own personality and seemed to be communicating with me, the sun had colours and movement I had never observed before. The world seemed to be filled with childlike wonder again, magic and meaning that I had long forgotten, yet my heartache was still ever present, I knew the pain was vary much a necessary part of my new altered perspective of this incredible world we live in.

The ayahuasca trip itself did not bless me with a journey, however I did experiences purging of fluids after injestion and extremely heavy and vivid dreams of a drowned world of dark brown waters and people saving themselves on rooftops. Allthough I was a little disappointed that my preparation of ayahuasca did not manifest as I had expected (and in fact seemed to have caused some minor stomach issues for the following week) I was certain I would continue to peruse the teachings of this well respected master plant spirit.

My 2nd attempt with Ayahuaca was also fruitless, this time dieting with Chiric Sanango. I began to believe I was a lousy cook! But swim enjoyed the practice of dieta and found it very purifying on its own.

My next phycadellic experiment was with ketamine, I somehow miscalculated the dose for oral ingestion and later found he had probably taken about 3 times the dose to put anyone In the deepest and darkest K hole. At this date this was my most profound and alien journey into alternate dimensions. I will briefly describe what unfolded;

I drank the powder down in a glass of orange juice about 11am. closed my black out blind and put on his sleep mask and ear plugs. After a certain amount of time I began to observe myself being lowered into a cavernous octagonal marble lined pit. I was both big and small and began to observe my mind fold in on itself like a blob of liquid floating in the void of space. I realised the fragility of my consciousness, what ever I focussed on became the new flavour of my entire universe. I was descending fast into an abstract microscopic universe and held on to crystalline structures with my dream body for dear life all the while knowing i was not down-here alone. The Lady occupied the territory, this was her underworld. She was terrifyingly powerful and I managed to stay out of her way before falling far deeper into the ever evolving landscape of textures and subtle monochrome hues. At one stage my entire body was made of iron filings.

I fell so far that I popped out of our universe altogether, exited the sphere into a new space. Below me a hell realm, I could feel the terror and pull of its event horizon in my belly but fortunately managed to will myself just out of reach of its magnetic attraction. Ahead of me the 7 heavenly spheres, one for each of the major faiths, each consecutive one adorned with stained glass, Islamic tiles, sacred geometry and so on. Being most in agreement with eastern spiritual philosophy I headed towards the nearest sphere. Made of wood with a cross legged Buddhist statue at its doors. As I drew closer I knew that this was the gates of the Buddhafield I was certain that if I was to enter I would see/ experience the eternal heavens.. but yet something inside me knew. That this was just another illusion. I had been through and seen so much already that this would just be more visual opulence and was not what I sought at this time. So I allowed myself to surrender. I let the world before me dissolve into the darkest emptyness. My mind now without thought. Nothing existed... complete silence....

I now began to realise that I was in a new kind of emptyness, like as if all my life I had believed I had existied in 3 dimensional space but now I was allowed to be within a much higher dimensional emptyness. I had never felt such peace. I then Realised the only thing in this void of emptyness was myself and that I was a point of sconsciousness in the centre of this void of space and as soon as I realised this I could then see off in the vast distances of this void my own light reflecting back at me. This was envigerating and comforting to me.

I then realised that this void was timeless and that swim had been there forever and as much as I adored the bliss my nature was to live and at that point I reasiled my WILL.

As if like an ripple from the big bang events then unfolded in perfect order. The fingers of my right hand began to unfold as if like a yogic master. I began to move each and every limb in sequence in a beautiful flowing vinyasa. I then spoke a concession of sacred vowels. And as soon as this was done I began to ride the light of ecstasy. The badest ass music swim could ever dream of hearing, the most spectacular feeling I had ever felt. The most incredible visions of pure white brilliant light With each moment this feeling built and built exponentially, and I yelled with shear joy as I rode this wave all the way like an indestructible coyboy riding an atom bomb into the heart of the North Star. Yeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I woke on the floor of my bedroom and immediately threw up foul smelling chemical bile all over his carpet. I was alive! I felt like a hobbit for a good while but I was back in the world of the living and felt brilliant for many weeks after the event, like a new man.

At a later date I began to experiment again with LSD, cubensis and other such hallucinogens, of which I have great respect.

I have recently been opened to the world of DMT (of which I have written about here) and am exited at the possibilities of combining it with dreaming herbs (much of which are compatible with DMT) and Implimenting my skills in navigating alternate dimensions that I have practiced for so many years in dreams.

Much love and light

L

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Welcome,

Just a friendly FYI, there is no need to swim so much here, we are on dry land. Very happy

It really muddies up the post and offers no legal protection(you mentioned swim 128 times in this post). Unfortunately, when the post becomes cumbersome to read, many people will skip over it entirely. A bit of reformatting will encourage more users to engage with your post.

Several times, I’ve had the “flying up into a tree” dream. I wonder if this is caused by our leftover evolutionary flight to safety instincts. Usually, I’m fleeing someone or some animal when I do this.

Your K experiences sound very different from my one (insufflated). While you describe the void and clear visions, I had just the opposite. I only remember being disoriented, incapacitated and waiting for it to wear off, because my visual field was literally as if I was inside of a spinning washing machine with a strobe light flashing.

Nice report, and thank you!

I was really interested in your lucid dreaming history. Is this something that you still do?

I had a brief experience as a child, and became intensely interested in it in my 20's when I discovered it was a 'thing' and one could train themselves to experience it. With very intense practice, I managed to produce around 6 experiences, all of which were incredible. I just couldn't sustain the amount of daytime prep and seemingly endless number of disappointing failures.

Anyways, thanks again for sharing. Reading this inspires me to plan and attempt to jump into this wonderful world again!

Hi seeking pelican

Yes I still practice lucid dreaming, I’ve been dieting with various dreaming herbs recently and have found some very interesting and effective herbs and combinations.

Yes is an extremely difficult practice to master as there are so many variables to take into account: amount of sleep you’ve had, how tired you are, what you’ve eaten, etc.

Even after years of nightly practice I still will fail regularly if I’m attempting naturally.

There is a combination that I discovered recently from the lucid dreaming power of supplements book that i find is astonishingly effective. This combo will get me lucid 90% of the time and saves allot of effort and disappointment;

(Please do your own research on the following supplements if you fancy giving it a go)

At bed take one 5htp
After 5 - 6 hours sleep wake for about 30 mins and read a book or kindle (no blue light) then take 2 x 300mg alpha GPC, 1 x 600mg Choline, 2 x 4mg galantamine and a very small amount of yohimbine (I split one pill into 20 parts)

Lay in bed in a dark room and say your intentions 3 times. I attempt a WILD at this point, the idea is not to move your body and count your breaths until your body goes into paralysis and then attempt an exit. The galantamine makes this very easy to do, just hold on and don’t get freaked out during the transition as it can get freaky. If I don’t get a WILD I will 90% of the time get a regular lucid dream as Galantamine gives you plenty of false awakenings.

Further advice is to dream journal all you can and practice the pinch nose reality check and ask your self if your dreaming a few times a day. This is the perfect aid to get you lucid She. You question if you are i a dream when you actually are in a dream so get familiar with it.

Hope that helps.

Thank you Thefunze!

Yes I am familiar with the mentioned preparation techniques. Perhaps 15 years ago I also experimented with galantamine. I recall quite a bit of excitement about it amongst the LeBerge crowd. I am almost certain the cocktail back then did not include yohimbine, but I remember all the other inputs. I will look into it further. For the present, I think I need more serious mind training.

In any case I am pleased to report that your post stimulated me to focus my intentions and last night I successfully entered my first ever WILD. Sadly, it lasted only about a second as it really astonished me. Still, I view it as a serious accomplishment.

I become more and more convinced that meditation, lucid dreaming, and DMT can all support each other and interlace in wonderful and amazing ways. I feel energized by these synergies in psychic exploration.

Thanks again!

Hi Thefunze,

Your K experience sounds crazy! When trying new drugs try small amounts and work up Pleased I imagine it wasn't great, or parts of it at least.

Your post caught my attention when you spoke about your lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is a pretty fantastic state of reality and imo is not like any drug I've ever tried. The ability to control the dream and alter / change what you see is profound. As I'm sure you know being able to get to this stage is not an easy task, it took me a very long time to figure out how to stay asleep when you know you're dreaming. You stated there are many methods of doing this along with the methods of changing the visual properties of your dream. In my opinion being able to remain in the dream is the hardest stage to overcome.

When starting out with lucid dreaming I struggled to remain in the dream just as you have that realisation... "this is a dream" - shortly after I would wake (maybe a second or two). Waking in your dreams and knowing you're dreaming I find to be very empowering. Once you have that and know the feeling you get (in your dream - you just know) you begin to move on.

I have researched lucid dreaming in depth and to be honest I find what's available is very generalised. Every forum, website, wiki states the same basic methods. I have tried various techniques that seem to be shared anywhere relating to this topic. This is just my point of view but I have not found any of them to work at all. In fact some of the stated methods of actually having better control or staying lucid wake me. Spinning being the main one, I have tried this a few times just as you know you're dreaming, I woke every time. Although these may work for some people, they didn't work for me.

This is what works for me.. Sorry if this sounds slightly crazy readers but dreams are hard to explain (the initial aspect of them at least)..

I have various repeated dreams that when experienced - I know I'm dreaming and can become lucid at the exact same point in the dream each time. Hard to explain but for example;

I'm sleeping and dreaming then in the most common repeated dream I'm sat on a very high wall and can see people running in the distance, the dream is exactly the same every time I see the "scene" as it were. I instantly know at that point I'm dreaming. I tend to test it by jumping. When i say jumping I mean like being able to jump over houses or in to the clouds or basically being able to jump really ****in high and not dying on the way down lol..

Jumping is pretty much what I use to confirm the lucid reality, that and being able to make objects move with my mind, telekinesis etc. The feeling is very empowering during the dream. However staying asleep still requires a certain level of dream control.

when dreaming, if you remember your dreams in detail it can be frustrating when you wake after something like:

Not being able to run fast even though you're trying your hardest
Not being able to perform some task that you can do with ease in normal life
Not being able to communicate something

The feeling you get in your dream (or this is my view at least) that feeling of.. WTF is going on! that's when you need to train yourself to know you're dreaming. Getting past that stage is key. Do that and you're on your way.

I do not find anything really influences the ability to become lucid, i believe it's all about your state of mind. I dream daily and remember my dreams when I wake most of the time. I do not however lucid dream daily, I tend to let the lucidity happen as it happens, which to be honest becomes more frequent if you love the dream world.

Dreaming can be whatever you want it be. Use it to your advantage. Dreams can be and are very powerful.

Life is what you make of it - Don't exclude anything - Enjoy it.

Hey Blazed bud

Always good to meet a fellow lucid dream enthusiast. It’s facinating how different people have radically different approaches and perspectives with regards to lucid dreaming.

I do find supplements reliably and constantly increase my chances to lucid dream. (This has been found in studies also)
If your your doing it supplement free the wake back to bed method is highly effective also. By waking up for 30mins or longer after 5 or 6 hours sleep can definitely increase your chances of a WILD (coupled with intentions and visualisations of you becoming lucid)

With regards to lengthening the dream within the dream I have found rubbing your hands together and touching walls/ objects a great helper to ground and stabilise the dream. Also previously when the dream would fade to black (they call this the void) I thought that was the end of the dream and would wake up. But learned that you can stay in the dream by holding out in that space by feeling in the darkness. It’s like waiting for a bus soon enough you can imagine the dream scene back into existence after a short period. I do this by imagining voices or touching the wet floor of a shower room for example and this begins the opening out of the dream scene right before your eyes.

My most powerful aid in the dream world is the pinch nose reality check. Do it a few times throughout the day and when something really bizarre happens in your dream. Like for example I woke up the other day and looked at my phone. It said HTC swirl??? and I did t recognise the screen at all, I automatically pinch my nose and try to breath though it whenever something strange happens. Sure enough I breathed through my air sealed nostrils. I was in a dream time to go out and do some flying.

A dream diary is also essential, it’s a great joy to read back over the many hundreds of adventures into strange worlds I have visited every now and again. I find it unfathomable how so many people give little or no value to such experiences.
