Hello, my name is Luiz, I'm almost 23 years old, and I had a few psychedelic experiences: first time 3g shrooms lemontek, second time 1g shrooms + cannabis, first time dmt I reached the tunnel.

I have some issues regarding anger, disproportionate reactions to certain occasions, it's very rare for me to freak out, but it happens sometimes. It started to intensifies after I got a stressfull shitty job.

Often are silly problems that trigger me a chain of anger, I start to hit myself up in the head while yelling, it doesn't last long, but seems uncontrollable when this is triggered (I'm still conscious and can remember what happened though)... I never hurt anyone phisically but me, my girlfriend already witnessed some outbreaks I had, and some were triggered by debates we had at the moment. Very disproportionate reaction.

It happened around 4 times since august last year, I did go to a psychiatrist yesterday and I was prescribed lexapro (free 3 boxes [15 pills 10mg escitalopram each] a pill per day during 1 month and a half). He told me my situation isn't bad and that will be enough.

After research I came to a conclusion that I don't want to take this drug, there are several negative effects and It could damage permanently my brain, and also get me addicted.

I really feel that I could use psychedelic treatment by myself, with my friends and gf support... My mom knows I'm into it and she is quite supportive.

My friend found real tested LSD, and will give me one tab... I'm thinking to start the treatment by scanning my brain while on LSD, trying to find and understand from where all this "occasional" madness/anger comes from... I also lack incentive to do things and I still don't know what I love to do (I feel that LSD could help me to discover what I'm good for, my talents etc)

I'll drop cannabis for a while and continue the treatment with occasional higher dose shrooms.

What do you guys think? It would help me a lot all your advices and warnings.

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post it... Love and Gratitude Love

I think anger is sadness turned inward. Both sadness and anger are forms of non-acceptance in many ways. They both derive from fear. Do whatever you feel is best for you, tread carefully and attempt to get to the core issue that is causing your anger and outbursts. Meditation can help calm the mind. Watch your diet and get plenty of rest. Take care of yourself as best you can and be gentle with yourself. Find another job. Do what you can to destress.

Watch your thoughts and try and step back from your anger when it comes up. Do what you can to observe when the anger is bubbling up and step back from it as best you can. Can you cut it off before is boils over into an outburst? Take a few breaths and calm yourself. Sounds like you have a great support system that can assist you in this.

These emotions are there for a reason. They let you know something is wrong. However, if they are bought into too often it can create a fight or flight response when there is no actual danger. The body can just get used to being angry and the outbursts occur.

Severe the chord of the core issue of your anger and you will become less angry over time. Practice calming yourself. Bring yourself down from the anger when you feel it coming up. I think you can do this as you stated that silly problems trigger your chain of anger. That is a certain recognition of your anger problem. Go with that.

I hope you can find what works best for you!

Thank you so much DmnStr8 for your words, I'm meditating on this.

It helped me a lot, and I'll do what I can to be productive, peaceful and calm once again Smile
