So i know a girl that works at a large nursery in town. She knows my love of cacti and holds back ones she knows i'll want when they come in. I have acquired many trichocereus over the years from her. However, today when i stopped by, not only did she have 8 T. bridgesii x T. peruvianus, and a T. terschekii, but also this beauty;
My first thought was Matucana madisoniorum just out of disbelief. However once i checked it out more thoroughly, i'm almost positive it is a L. williamsii. The picture makes it look much smaller than it is. It's in a 1.5 gallon pot, and the cactus itself is bout 2-2.5" diameter. When repotted, the taproot was exactly like my other 2 williamsii, and very unlike my other 3 M. madisoniorum. Single carrot like taproot with no additional tendrils.
It was apparently one of 4 that came in with their shipment, and she kept two and gave another the third.
All in all, I'd say a great day.
EDIT: Figured i'd show a picture of the full haul as well, just some entheo porn for you
