Hello everyone! So happy I found this community. I've been luring for about 4 months now and have been spending nearly all my free time experimenting with different teks. I'm obsessed.

I first tried DMT about 1 year ago. I'm 36 and only started trying substances of ANY kind about 5 years ago. I'm very comfortable with weed, occasionally enjoy mushrooms, have tried LSD, but am completely enamored by DMT.

I found someone local to show me the ropes, and have been having a ball getting into supplies (I love everything Pyrex), methodology, and best practices. I will admit it's a bit frustrating not knowing how accurate/updated information on here is. Often I find threads I'm interested in only to realize it were posted in 2012 and I'm not sure its relevant anymore. In fact that's what brought me to this page...I was just looking for recent threads and updated topics.

I approach psychedelics from a respectful and therapeutic place of healing and ceremony. My first breakthrough was me bargaining with an Entity to be able to focus on what I saw and remember it to take it back with me. In the end He(?) told me what I needed to do next time I return to have the best experience possible. I've yet to return to that realm, but I had another breakthrough experience that was very similar where I learned the importance of yoga and meditation in my trips. I guess I have some trip reporting to do...I'll get right on it!

I designed my room around having optimal experiences, and am very interested with stories of successful integration. I'm so excited to learn more collectively with all of you and progress our understanding of this amazing gift.

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

Hey Rensi, welcome!

You may find, as I do quite a lot of the time, that quite a few "old threads" are some of the best and most relevant ones to be found anywhere online.

One in particular, that I tend to over-use as a shining example, is Vovin's classic thread, "Why You Should Not Take DMT".

Sure, that might sound weird at first, especially in fora dedicated to DMT, but it truly behooves every member to check it out at least once (if not 20 times Twisted Evil )...

The very first time I read it, I couldn't stop and ended up reading the entire thread!

Anyway, I wish you a fruitful and prosperous time here at the Nexus!

P.S. If you haven't read the Attitude section of the DMT-Wiki, make it a point to memorize it. You don't seem to need it right now, the way you come off with your well-written, clear-intentioned and kind-hearted post, but lately I've personally seen a lot of newbies around these parts slip up in regards to the rules of posting here.

Trust me, if you review It and keep up with positive, constructive posts like you've done here, you'll be a full member in no time.

Peace
Freedom's so hard
When we are all bound by laws
Etched in the scheme of nature's own hand
Unseen by all those who fail
In their pursuit of fate

I rather root my values in my own hallucinations than in society´s neurotic illusions..
