IMHO while this is surely a nice project, if you like plants, it probably isn't a project to get some reasonable amounts of DMT. Growing trees indoors usually results in Bonsai-like growth as the roots are extremely limited, unless you got really space indoors...
But that is just my opinion, derived from experiences trying to grow trees indoors.

I think you're talking about Phalaris? There this is not really a problem. As has been shown in the Phalaris thread, it seems pretty simple to separate the Gramine from the DMT. But it definitely needs more work than other sources. But e.g. in the climate I am in, it seems the only option for outside. The Arundinaceas are extremely resistant against cold. Or you grow some annual Phalaris every year, like Brachystachys.
But so far my observation is, that once they got some proper roots outside, they grow very strong and fast, no comparison to a yearly seeded plant. That also wouldn't surprise me, as they make roots as deep as 10 feet...and can so start every year already with a fully developed root structure.
I claim not that this is the truth. As this is just what got manifested into my mind at the current position in time on this physical plane. So please feel not offended by anything I say.
