Yesterday i had the unforunate problem of my last lighter broke while charging the machine... Gutted is a light way of putting it that is for sure!

But then i realised that lighters aren't really supposed to be used for such lengths of time ie. melting the spice. so i decided to see what i could find when it suddenly dawned on me..

Candle! After lighting it on the cooker, not only did it never go out, the flame seemed stronger so charging the machine was much easier. A friend also even took a hit using the candle instead of lighter and it seemed to work for them fine. So all in all i was just wondering, does everyone here just use lighters? or do most people use pipes so charging is not neccesary etc.. The one time i DID try using a pipe i used dmt + tobacco, which was pretty unpleasant to say the least hehe.

So in summary, how do you charge/light your machine! I think i'm going to charge with a candle every time from now on Smile

Only problem with a candle is you don't want to come back from the trip and be on fire.

Haha this is true but in a way i think it would onyl really be practical for charging the machine.

This is why I love Changa joints.

Once lit, you only have to remember to set it down on your sea shell once you've crossed over...

Might want to look into either a torch lighter or Beeline, which is hemp twine dipped in wax that a lot of people use for smoking buds.

That wax covered twine is worthless. I bought some and feel it to be a waste of money. It smokes so you taste and smell it. No bueno

SWIM takes a souffle torch to a glass rod, heats it up real good, and dips it in a bowl of Spice, which vaporizes it. SWIM admits that this is a total pain in the pineal gland, however its the mildest vapor SWIM ever had. But Bics are the best in my opinion,
I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human.

For spice sure, it's also not really an improvement over the candle: it still burns in a manner you can't control if you break through. It's great for lighting bongs, bubblers, bowls etc, cuz it's hemp twine and smokes/smells like hemp as it burns. If anyone's looking for a great alternative to lighting bowls with flint/butane lighters, I HIGHLY recommend Beelines. The taste of your herb will increase tenfold easily.

Agreed with beeline, it is GREAT and removes butane taste from weed hits. However, I recommend a torch lighter for DMT... If you are vaporizing, using either a machine or lightbulb, the torchlighter will not leave black residue on the heated surface, and you will more easily be able to direct the heat and vaporize the DMT slowly. Some people I know also use torch lighters and heat up glass rods to hit spice with.

If you have a fireplace in yer house you could break a very small peice pf fully chared charcoal from a log and place thast on top of yer bowl...only problem would be that you would have only a short time before it all vaporizes.

honestly though it worries me to suggest ideas that could possibly start a fire in someones house if they broke through and were un-aware of one starting next to them till they came out of the trance..deffinetly would be labled with the "bad trips"
