I recently harvest/cloned a bunch of Phalaris Arundinacea (picta var.) I was wondering if anyone new about the average Ratio for this strain. i am waiting for my first Extraction of it to Evap. and am driving myself crazy trying to count my chickens before they hatch. the extraction was done with 100gs fresh Grass Blades. I have read articles stating everything from 0.02- 0.16 for average but i know all Phalaris varies greatly not only species to species but from plant to plant. Is Picta a clone of one old plant ( like aq-1 or Big Medicine) or is Picta just a strain that happends to have very defining properties (Picta is known for its white stripes).

The thing is, that there do exist several Picta strains.
E.g. see the main Phalaris thread here:
https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=16810&p=21

In general it seems Appleseed wasn't successful with picta strains. But unfortunately we have no data, which strains he tested. OTOH we have some very few reports which do indicate some activity. Unfortunately these people didn't indicate exactly which picta strains they used...(as quite often they are not indicated clearly from the sellers, or are even wrongly named.)

Picta's are specially bred ornamental grasses for usage as decoration in the garden. Picta's are infertile.
The known entheogenic strains of Arundinacea like "Big Medicine" or "Turkey Red" are just specially selected strains from the "normal" Arundinacea growing in the wildlife, which is fertile.
AQ-1 is Phalaris Aquatica, not Arundinacea.
I claim not that this is the truth. As this is just what got manifested into my mind at the current position in time on this physical plane. So please feel not offended by anything I say.

From what I can see here kayjay, both of your shots look like a mixture of young phragmities and mature phalaris arundinacea(the plant with the dried flower heads/non-picta).. do not use phragmities for extraction, nor any plants growing around phragmities unless you are seriously experienced in advanced chemistry/extraction techniques.

Just grow your own phalaris plants. It's a lot of work so buckle-up and do some research here on the Nexus for more information regarding the entire, lengthy process for grass extractions. It can seem very easy to entertain the idea at first because grass grows basically everywhere but please be careful and do some critical search engine homework. Smile

Take care!
