So something really weird seems to be happening. My first go around with DMT was in 2012 and I REMOVED quite a bit of it. I went around to a few of my friends houses to share the magic with them. This is where it gets weird. Although I would take a nice big puff and have very vivid experiences... none of my friends felt anything besides a slight body high. I even gave one of them a massive pile to smoke and still nothing whatsoever. Fast forward a bit. I just finished up a recent extraction and got some nice fluffy crystals to smoke on. I decided to let my wife who is very small try some. NOTHING!?? It's so weird. Any ideas as to what might be going on? I know for a fact that they're not burning it because it is being smoked out of a base pipe. Im starting to think there is something blocking them from the experience all together.. as if they aren't "ready" yet or something. It's really a bummer that nobody can experience what I experience. Any thoughts?

Everyone is going to have there own answer to this so its subjective. Some people swear by smoking there DMT with fire others prefer low temp dab on a TITANIUM or QUARTZ rig. I am a cannabis extraction expert and know the proper fundamentals of oil cannabinoids, boiling points conversion of THC and CBD etc. The point is try dabbing at a low temp. I've read how burning crystal or Goo is really destroying a lot of the experience but again this is all subjective. Wouldn't hurt to try

DMT can still be burnt in a freebase pipe, did they say the smoke was harsh? Was it held in for 20+ seconds? Were they on any medications or supplements? How high did your wife dose?
Some people have vastly different tolerances to it than you would think, and I believe I read of people not feeling anything before.
It really intrigues me, though, how it is so different for everyone. Truly a mysterious substance...

Like you said, some people are not ready for it. I think that if it is offered just as a "drug", and people don't know what they are really in for, it can get ugly real fast. If your friends are interested, let them do some research themselves, then see if they still want to try it. The way I read it, it came off as a little reckless, especially the massive pile part. Start low and find out how much is needed, as everyone reacts differently. Everyone has their own unique brain chemistry.

I feel for you wanting to share it though, it's hard to not be excited about it and want everyone to understand what it's all about.

It was harsh for her lungs since she doesn't smoke and I made sure they held it in as long as possible. No medications.I gave my wife a 30 milligram dose followed by a 50 milligram dose the second time an hour later.

That makes sense that you would say that it came off reckless. At the time if my friends experiences and giving one of them a massive pile, I so happened to be a reckless 17 year old. I didn't know much about the substance at the time. Im definitely a lot more careful about how i go about it these days though. I make sure people know what they are getting into and explain that it is not meant to be for fun.

Properly convection-vaporized, DMT will be very smooth and not even particularly hot to inhale. This very much suggests the DMT was burnt in the base pipe.


DMT is a curious molecule. I'm fairly convinced 'it' makes lighters stop working when enough has been smoked vaped.

Ahh I see. Maybe I should just invest in a vapor genie then. And haha I wouldn't be surprised.
