I bought this cactus off ebay some 3-4 years ago. It was advertised as Trichocereus bridgesii.

It grew well (outside year round), pupped and I've rooted a couple of cuttings since then.

I also ate a piece of it and nothing happened. Can't remember exactly how large the piece was, it wasn't large, but I've felt effects with cuttings of T. pachanoi of about the same size.

A google image search shows that this is clearly not T. bridgesii. Could it be T. spachianus?

Here are pictures of 2 cuttings:

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

This reminds me of anew echo echinopsis terscheckii

I'm a cacti newbie tho lol.

Depending on when it was fed last, I'd say it either got fed too much or is starving for some nitrogen

Nice plant Smile

Thanks guys.

Raven44, I'm almost sure it's a nitrogen deficiency. I've never really given it much care as it didn't seem to be active. But now I'm preparing some borders to fill and that's why I'm trying to find out what it this cactus is and whether it's worth planting out. Even if it's inactive I'll probably plant it out as an ornamental anyway and then it will get some much needed care.
