Greetings everyone!

I am glad to be joining you all on the nexus.

About myself, briefly. My spirituality is probably what defines me in life. Becoming disillusioned with organized religion as a teen caused me to set out on a path of discovery through direct experience. I was introduced to the idea of taking entheogens to access altered states of consciousness in order to induce such experiences by watching a documentary about Ayahuasca when I was about 17. Ever since I have felt called to these plants and, being a resident of a country where I have relatively easy access to these things, they have taken me all over the world (and into other worlds, as well).
It was only recently (about half a years ago), however, that I was introduced to DMT. A good friend of mine gave me my first hit of changa, which was an experience I felt all those years of cannabis, LSD, mushrooms, mescaline and more could not have prepared me for. This experience quickly led to my making changa, and I have been able to make some great batches if I may say so!
Last month, I was fortunate enough for that moment wherein I would be introduced to Mama Ayahuasca to finally arrive! And I must say, she took the cake. I had been told that while an Ayahuasca trip would be longer and more drawn out, a smoked DMT experience would be more intense. This was NOT my experience! Ayahuasca grabbed me 'gently' by the balls and ripped me inside out. No experience has yet made such a profound impact on me. I am currently writing down the full report of the experience, which I will be happy to share once it's done.

For now, thank you all for reading. Much love!

Welcome Jallen,
Thanks for sharing, I also became disillusioned with religion as a young teen, especially the absurdity of organized Christian churches. Gotta pay for that ticket to heaven! Everything taken so literally from the bible, when it is almost all metaphor that is up for interpretation. I think the tree of the knowledge of good and evil could have been acacia or some other entheogenic tree.

I am sure you will find what you're looking for at this site, so much good information and a real focus on research and eliminating disinformation.

I look forward to reading about your ayahuasca experience when it is written!

Take care,
AcidShard
