Hey guys I am looking for some opinions, but first some background:

I've done my fair share of research about dmt and my chosen extraction procedure (ACRB A/B). I have just one suspect material which is my NPS. At my location there is a lack of Naphtha and I instead have "Crown Camp Fuel" I have read the MSDS and it says that is is comprised of "95-100%" petroleum distillates. The the 0-5% that is unaccounted for is benzene, toluene, and various rust inhibitors.Mad

Now for my question: As obviously I do not want rust inhibitors in my final product as a result of doing an evap, does anyone think that freeze precipitating would circumlocute that contamination, OR: would the trace amounts of toluene hold onto the DMT and prevent freeze precip?

Obviously this is pretty specific but anyone's opinion would be much appreciated.Smile

(I did an evap test and it was clean if that helps any)

I could be wrong but I think that companies process the oil distillates in the same area and so sometimes they use those labels as a safety measure just like when you buy a energy bar it says "may contain almonds, sesame seeds, milk, gluten etc etc)

Either way, are you sure that is the only product you can find? not in another town you can skip to on your day off?

Freeze precip will take care off most of it, especially if you did it a few times. I can't imagine toluene holding on to the DMT on freeze precip if it is only in trace amounts. I could be wrong also but I think that if you are vaping your DMT these trace elements wouldn't be as much of a concern than if you were smoking it in a bong depending on the chemicals melting temp. If you have fumaric acid you could also wash it up by converting to a fumarate.

End of the day, if you are REALLY concerned you have only a few options... either drive a long way to a town that DOES sell naphtha with a label saying 100 percent OR choose a cleanup method like using a different solvent or converting to dmt-fumarate.

Have you looked in to the health effects and toleration of traces of rust inhibitors?

Thanks for your opinion, I am going to try to get a hold of a some better solvents as you said. And yeah I could always do a re-x.

I'm not totally sure about health effects of rust inhibitors, but I think I read someone on the nexus say they're toxic
