Hi guys, I'm the Primordialviperof the light bearing son. I've been extracting dmt for a while now, I would say abuout 2 years. Having tried various teaks and plant material to see what I was able to come up with. And I've had some crazy experiences and some horrible, but all great learning experiences. Currently I am all about mhrb which I am currently growing and my little plants from seed are doing so beautifully! Now the reason to my post, this was about 7-8 months ago, since then I've learned many more techniques which have shown much better results, but I'm still curious to this day what happened here. So I had made some DMT FUMARATE and was trying to basify it with a sodium carbonate and water extraction where I added the sodium carbonate first and then added a little bit of water to then have a reaction where dmt would come out of the resulting procedure. Now I know when I did this I did it wrong and my measurements were not exact and I believe from what I remember that I had added way too much water. Long story short, I had put this extraction in my refrigerator as I had somewhere to go that night and left he extract in its little container and actually wound up forgetting about it for about 2-3 months. Now when I rediscovered the little container, I was shocked and amazed at what I found. The pic provided will show what I found. Now I don't know if what u see in the pic is just DMT FUMARATE or if it's another crystal from the sodium carbonate or what. If someone could see if they could identify what my result was that would be awesome. I widh I still had these around but I stupidly lost them when I was experimenting to see what I made. The crystals were water soluble btw. So I know it wasn't DMT freebase. let me know your opinions! Thanks guys! If I remember correctly I used "smart water". As in the bottled water known as smart water.

Quote:Smart Water is a pretty simple “vapor-distilled” product. It doesn’t have any minerals in it anymore, so potassium, magnesium chloride and other electrolytes are added to make it taste better. Smart Water is mostly derived from tap water... glacéau smartwater ?

Would you please abstain from using non-standard text colors? It makes your message hard to read. Breaking up the text into paragraphs also improves readability.
I assume that the water evaporated spontaneously while standing in the refrigerator?
The crystals do not look like sodium carbonate crystals, so they are either dmt freebase or dmt fumarate crystals. It's a bit of a guess, but they look a lot like dmt fumarate as I have seen them crystallize out of anhydrous acetone. I am not sure if recrystallization from water would yield the same crystal shapes, but it is not unlikely.
The crystals look beautiful btw.

My apologies about the readability of the text. Abstinence of text color shall be implemented.
Ya , I had used smart water. The crystals were wAter soluble so it definitely wasn't freebase, so I too am assuming it was dmt fumarate.
But thank you PITUBO, I thought the crystals were beautiful too. =)

Redissolve in slightly acidified water (in case there is a mix of freebase/fumarates depending on how much sodium carb you added in the first place) , and reprecipitate (or re-extract with non-polar). That way, whatever it is, if there's DMT you'll recover.

Nice crystals, but... It seems as though at least some of the solid matter will be sodium fumarate. It's a bit surprising no-one else mentioned this yet. A comparison sample could be made from sodium carbonate and fumaric acid. It seems likely the DMT will be contained in the brownish crud at the bottom of the container. 3 months' exposure to the open air, even when covered in a fridge, will still lead to some yellowing or browning of the product even in fumarate form. Also, it looks as though your aluminium container has suffered a little corrosion there. :yuk: PRIMORDIALVIPER wrote:Having tried various teaks and plant material... I've never heard of DMT being extracted from this kind of tropical hardwood before! “There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." ― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

OH, SNAP. NO YOU DI'HNT. My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. anne halonium wrote:im always in the " get high , get laid, get paid", or," win big or die tryin" camp. ^anything less is against my religion.
