Hello everyone,

Long time lurker and first time poster from the land down under. Hoping to share my experiences as well as speak to like minded people and shed some light on what my journey could possibly mean.

I've been reading about it for a while now and people's experiences with ayahusca. I never delved into the world of psychedelics because it wasn't an avenue that was available to me, preferring the more mainstream drugs due to the environment I was in (douchey corporate world where I sold my soul but later got it back and I'm now much happier).

In the past few years I've been moving into zen buddhism as a way of life and was offered the opportunity to drop some LSD which I felt was a pleasant trip but I was in control the entire time and it didn't feel like anything out of this world. I've felt that through out life I've been extremely winded up as a person, that I have a level of neurotic-ism stopping me from realising my potential as a human being and somehow convinced myself that the world of psychedelics would be a way to figure things out and hopefully overcome what shortfalls I have as a person.

From this it led to my first DMT experience. I had about a gram of changa and wasn't sure how much of it to smoke so I mized about 1/5th of the bag with some passionflower and took my three long puffs.
I started hearing a higher pitch sound and everything seemed brighter, the same as most of the descriptions I read about. I started hearing my fan at a lower frequency and then was dropped into a fractal world.

I could feel and see my hand fall apart into an array of colours, light, frequencies and what looked like mathematical calculations before ending in some zig zag rainbow world like an MC Escher sketch with coloured giants glued to the walls folding in on themselves.
What happened next has puzzled me and I'm still trying to figure it out. I felt beings around me that I couldn't see but I could sense that they weren't happy for me to be there. A insect like mandible wrapped itself around my neck and I could feel the heat emitting from it, almost a burning sensation. At this point I know I was lying on my bed and had managed to turn and plant my face into a pillow.
What I can only describe as a floating ball made of rope with a glowing centre appeared. It pulsed out an arrangement of letters inside it. Sort of like the Matrix with the rolling characters. I don't know what it was but it felt like it was alive. Whether it was a spirit or some machine god judging me and deeming me arrogant for going to that place, there was hostility but also pensiveness as if I was to be given another chance. I woke up shortly after that and its been on the back of my mind since.

I look forward to reading other people's experiences and finding the commonalities as well as the differences in your trips.

Hi again and I'm glad to be here!

Welcome friend

Thanks for sharing a little about yourself.

It helps to go into your trip with clear intentions and to calm yourself the best you can before hand with some sort of meditation, but this is not to say that it still couldn't have a negative vibe to it. Sometimes it's like that.
Set and setting are important too. It's powerful medicine and needs respected that way or you could get hyperslapped.

Enjoy the community, safe and happy journeys Thumbs up

Peace
