This is great! Thank you for sharing, null24. The US's War on Drugs has been especially destructive in Latin American countries; where the black market's drug traffic goes, so follows a trail of destruction and death. And up until recently, many of these countries appeared to support US policy despite the toll it was taking.
I like what's happening in the world as of late. Canada is poised to legalize in the next two years (unless Trudeau is a liar), and multiple south American countries are also relaxing their drug laws in the wake of extreme violence. This makes me all the more excited for things like
ungass2016, which is on April 19 of all days.
I do not want to give my hopes up, but this is indeed a very exciting time. Here's to hoping that Mexico goes for medical/legalization next!
