Would you prefer I wrote: This is a new article written by SWIM? I've posted a number of my articles on here and, although I could just say "Here's a new DMT article" and not mention that I wrote it, this gets a bit tricky to maintain when we get into discussions about the article content. "I think the author meant this..." etc. Get my point?

Nice work again, your interpretation is very consistent with my hyperspace experiences. I've had many (>20) trips where the 'aliens' waltz into the room and directly explain to me the simulated nature of this reality, it's alarming in its consistency. And yes, there definitely seem to be a series of 'levels' to the game, where you progress further and further with each experience towards a 'big reveal', which I think happened to me in may. The nature of my experiences has changed considerably over the years and seems to change abruptly every few months.

I've had similar experiences - I've been in a sort of alien boardroom where the aliens were discussing whether or not to continue running our simulation. Also quite alarming!! Your experiences sound really fascinating - have you given them a proper write-up? Since you've had so many I think it would make for a really comprehensive and important account of these ideas. I'd certainly appreciate it!

More and more now, both from myself and others' reports, I get the feeling that this reality is the creation of a hyperintelligence beyond our imagination, and that DMT was somehow implanted as the technology for us to come to understand it, once we reach the requisite level of cognitive sophistication. Reminds me of Terence McKenna's words: The main thing to understand is that we are imprisoned in some kind of work of art...

Actually, I'm currently developing the pharmacokinetic model for the continuous IV infusion based on Strassman's original DMT blood data (which he kindly provided me with). So yeah, all the key details required to make the machine will be in the resulting paper... Thumbs up

Great read laughingcat I really resonate with your concepts.
I hope within my life time we get even the smallest idea of what this stuff is really about.
The game analogy is really accurate. For me it has always felt like a game of some sort right from the start.
A day does not go by that I don't contemplate the extreme unexplainable weirdness of this whole thing.
thanks for expressing some really clear ideas about this.

Can you imagine a reality where the whole thing doesn't have an element of weirdness?

From all of my experience it also points towards exactly what you've wrote about in your paper, I think the concept of it being the creation of our future selves and the simulation of god is sort of inseparable.

Thanks for the read, really resonated with me and brings back many forgotten experiences Thumbs up

Very nice read Laughingcat. Smile

How long do you presume the simulation has been running, has it been going since the start of our universe, some 13 billion years? If this is what you hypothesise, would our time be relative to time outside of the simulation? Thank you.
“Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them—if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry.” J.D. Salinger.

It's hard to say how our time (Simulation time) relates to the Simulator time. However, our time is determined by the step rate of the simulation (probably the Planck time), with each step being an update of the simulation based on its current state (assuming a simple cellular automaton type time, but not certain). Time is not necessarily linear of course, and 13 billions years is difficult to quantify, since the early universe may have been run much faster (before the Universe reached high degree of complexity) or the Simulation might have been started from an older Simulation that had already reached a level of complexity. It's impossible to know and, even worse, it's really hard to comprehend how the step rate of the simulation might correspond to our subjective experience of time. In short, I don't think the 13 billion years figure really has any meaning outside of the simulation itself, since we have no way of knowing how the Simulation is being run or on what hardware. For example, if you simulated a simple 'creature' from birth to death on a computer, assuming that creature was conscious, you can ask how time flows for that creature and how long its life is. If you then run the same simulation on a much faster machine (say 10x faster), then although the creature experiences the same sense of time and life length (since it's the same simulation), for us running the simulation it's 10x faster... same with the Grand Simulators...

By the way, I don't subscribe to the idea that our Universe was designed or that it is a Simulation of another universe (of a 'real' one). I think it more likely that the Universe was created as a type of cellular automaton - the rules of the physics (the CA update rules) were set up and the simulation allowed to run, self-organise and self-complexify. I think self-consciousness is inevitable once a system reaches very high levels of complexity.

How it is that DMT then allows us access to the Simulator domain is tricky and is something I deal with in the book I'm writing on this whole thing, so you'll have to wait for that......Very happy

Disclaimer: The following is pure conjecture and subjective reality gained from spiritual experiences.

My hypothesis is that we aren't "emergent" from the simulation, we're "users" or rather "subjects" of the simulation... Similarly to how you mentioned in your Machine elf lecture, I believe that the strong problem has no solution, subjective phenomenology (what people call "consciousness", though I dislike the word) does not emerge from anything - it's the fundamental baseline of reality.

As for time, I've had similar experiences with meditation and other exploration techniques, and my DMT breakthrough has pretty much reinforced my view that simulation time is independent of "external" time. The entire simulated continuum occurs in an infinitesimal moment of "external" time, and the breakthrough IS that infinitesimal moment. It's occurring real-time, in every single moment of our existence in this reality. This whole infinity is INSIDE that infinitesimal moment.
