I have a selection of dried herbs here, and just over a gram of spice. I want to make 3 grams Changa so here's my ingredients:
Mullein
Passion Flower
Lemongrass
Caapi Leaf (Red)
Caapi Vine (White)
Blue Lily
Damiana
Calea Zacatechichi
Fluffy White Crystals
With only a gram of spice, I want to make a 2:1 ratio of herb:spice. This way, I can smoke 100mg of Changa to get my breakthrough dose of about 33mg spice. I would also assume this would allow more harmala to be present with more room for caapi and passion flower herbs. I'm not opposed to extracting harmala freebase from my caapi, but for this first blend I would like to just infuse onto the herbs. Keep in mind, I have never experienced harmala or ayahuasca, only vaporized freebase.
So if you were going to infuse 1 gram of crystal onto 2 grams of these herbs, what priority would you list them in?
For example:
40% Caapi leaf
20% Passion Flower
20% Mullein
10% Caapi vine
10% Calea Z
I read a report on the potency of caapi leaf to vine, and it reported the vine as being slightly more potent. Is either easier to smoke or perhaps more ideal for changa?
Of course, I'm going to sample each herb in a bong before I decide. Should I be expecting any effects from just a naked herb like Caapi leaf?
Based off of what I've learned from the Nexus, I plan to use a 99% IPA solvent. I hear ethyl alcohol, acetone, naphtha, and other solvents work, I just figure I can get my hands on IPA easier.
I know stuff like this must appear again and again on the forum, but if you guys can set me in the right direction here, I will be glad to post good pictures of each procedure.
