One great book in regards to Mesoamerican history, Rainforest conservation and also containing a lot of ethnobotanical informations is "Rainforest Medicine" by Jonathon Miller Weisberger.

Maybe I even found that book through the nexus, but I can't remember for sure.

If anyone knows more books in that direction, I'd also be very interested as well.
