So I'm really happy with my 2nd extraction!

Cyb's Tek, 52g MHRB.
Oddly enough, my first two pulls were the only ones that yielded crystals. So the entire 790mg of Xtals + some goo came from the same pan of the first 2 pulls.

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

I'm not a big fan of SWIM. I mean, I've never met the guy, but any time I hear about him, he's doing something sketchy.

That extract was from 100g acacia maidenii root bark. Single freeze/thaw in 50mL of water. Cooked in 1400mL 0.01M HCl for 2 hours. Filtered then based with 800mL 2M NaOH solution (with 60g NaCl to increase aqueous ion density). 4x 70mL pulls of naphtha (done in a heat bath at 60C). Evap to yield beautiful white DMT snow.

IME, the trick to getting really clean crystals from acacia is to filter the bark out before you base. That way there's no chance your nps will dissolve any unwanted fats, tannins etc through contact with the bark.

EDIT: forgot to mention, yield was about 2.14g if I recall correctly.
