Thanks for the concern, I'm anything but reckless; it's a food safe tek so ostensibly the worst thing that will happen is that it won't work. Anyway I recognize that spice is a powerful substance and I have no intention of abusing it.

I'm glad to hear you've had a good experience with limonene, I'm doing a 100g extraction and am planning to surprise my brother with some spice as he's been wanting to try it for a long time as well (he's the person that turned me on to psychedelics). I'll be following the vinegar/sodium carbonate tek that's up on the psychonaut wiki, do you have any idea what kind of yields I should expect?

Yield depends on many factors, mainly the bark quality (assuming you are using Mimosa or Acacia...whoops reread your original post...you are going with ACRB) and the skill of the extractor. If your starting materials are good then your end result is usually good too. A 1% yield is a fair average, I'd estimate. I am pulling this number from my own experience and from researching and communicating with many others on this site. You could get more. You could get less.

Others have seen up to 2% but that is considered rare.

Keep in mind that acacia has a lot of other alkaloids present such as NMT. It is psychoactive but is believed to be weaker than DMT. With a limonene tek you will be pulling DMT, NMT, β-Carbolines etc. so your end product will not be pure DMT. Do not be disheartened though. I really enjoy the synergy between NMT and DMT. If you want pure DMT from acacia, I would look into Cyb's tek or Earthwalkers tek. However those are not foodsafe.

In order to get all the goodies out, be sure to do a few extra "pulls" on your bark, especially if it is your first time. Anyway, I'm starting to ramble a bit...

Are freebase beta carbolines soluble enough in limonene that you could use it for making changa? I wish I had some d-limonene so i could test that right now

(I'm not sure on the solubility of freebase β-Carbolines in limonene.)

However, do not use limonene as your solvent for making changa. Limonene does not evaporate cleanly and will leave an orange-y residue. The most commonly used solvents for changa are Everclear (drinkable grain ethanol), 99% IPA, or Acetone. Check out the changa section for more info!
