Most everyone is aware of KRATOM or Mitragyna Speciosa,
but what about the other members of the Mitragyna genus?
So here is some information i found up on them so far....
MITRAGYNA HIRSUTA
In Thailand it’s called Kra Thum Khok and the leaves are chewed.
main active constituent in Mitragyna hirsuta is Mitraphylline.
Used for timber wood.
Mitragyna Parvifolia
Has been sold as “Mellow Gold" kratom
Has anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties.
Leaves are used to dress wounds.
The caterpillars of the Commander (Limenitis procris), a brush-footed butterfly, utilize this species as a foodplant.[4]
Mitragyna Javanica
Used in Thailand (where Speciosa is illegal) as a kratom substitute.
A mix up vendor sent M.Javanica by accident and many people liked it.
Similar alkaloid profile to Speciosa, but doesn't contain mitragynine.
Mitrajavine was the dominant alkaloid.
Mitragyna Africana
Said to be a sacrament of a religion in Africa, reported in MAPS magazine.
Reportedly has sedative/anti anxiety or anti-psychosis effect.

MITRAGYNA STIPULOSA
:The leaf is used as an anesthetic.
Chemical Profile :
Contains Uncaria-like alkaloids rhynchophylline. is known to contain rotundifoline, an oxoindole alkaloid.
