Hey guys! Glad to finally join what has been an incredibly useful forum, so some thank yous are in order towards all members! (I'll try to stop using exclamation marks now, just can't contain my enthusiaism towards the subject)

Anyway, I'm no stranger as such to DMT, I had previously managed to get my hands on some last week. Now, due to me being a total begginner I burnt most of it, despite me knowing how easily it burnt (I Just didn't know it was THAT easy).

Initially, I was excited, but I was really, really scared too. So much so that I feel like it restricted my experience, I had this feeling that my body was fighting the DMT (although I was trying my best to just relax and let the experience happen)

So I'm going to make some serious research into ways to relax properly before a trip and deal with these 'pre-flight nerves'.

Aside from seeing the 'usual' (if there is such a thing with regards to DMT) geometric shapes, I didn't managed to break through. Which was a shame!

I think the main thing that makes me nervous and incredibly excited is the idea of meeting entities. I feel kind of intimidated in a way, to meet these beings who are in all likelihood going to be supremely powerful in ways that I cannot even comprehend. Does anyone have any tips on how to approach them in them in the trip? Or do they find you? I sure hope I don't annoy any of them...

My intrest in doing DMT stems from my want to learn about myself, the world, the universe etc. Pretty much I'm here for wisdom in all its forms. I think its the unpredictability of the whole experience is making me so nervous!

Well anyway, thats my little introduction for those of you that are interested.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Welcome to the nexus friend, no need to hurry to a breakthrough if it's intimidating. First get your vaporizing technique down so you don't waste all your spice. Then you can ease into a breakthrough. In the meantime research with in the community to find what works for you. Meditation before flight helps you relax and not want to fight it, as an example. Thanks for the intro and enjoy the site Thumbs up

That is the best intention one can have. If you go into each DMT journey with those intentions you will be fine. No need for fear. Maybe that fear is the ego's fear of being exposed or shattered or ego-death all together. No expectations is sound advice I feel as it will not be anything you could possibly expect.

Try to relax and have fun too! Approaching anything with caution is good but don't build it up too much, you'll take all the fun out of it. Psychedelics can transform us instantly into a childlike mind. At awe and wonder at what we see before us. Amazed and mesmerized by the changes of consciousness and the new awareness that is awoken.

Enjoy the journey my friend!
