Yeah, i could make some of those. Just give me some millions of dollars!
This is amazing, and i've wondered if it would be possible to
create molecules by somehow piecing together individual atoms.
Since they can move atoms around to make micro-art like this from IBM;
(IBM <3 STAR-TREK)
They also created a frame by frame cartoon .....
(the ripples around the atoms are electrons in waveform!)
sORRY TO GET OFF TOPIC a bit, BUT THIS WAS TOO AWESOME!
(Todo list: search microchips with microscope for micropictures)
There are two Latin phrases on the dollar bill surrounding the pyramid: "Annuit Coeptis", which means "God has favored our undertaking"; and "Novus Ordo Seclorum" that translates to "a new order of the ages". At the base of the pyramid is the Roman numeral for the year 1776.
The silicon pyramid has the Roman numeral for the year 1987 etched into the pyramid base, but is devoid of Latin text.
Notice the little dots are not citys, but are said to be 'imperfections'.
We found this miniature silicon rendition of the American flag along with the Integrated Device Technology (IDT) logo on a RAM memory controller chip. At 5 microns in size, this is the smallest version of the flag that we have yet seen.
