So SWIM tried his to make DMT fumarate for his first time but failed to read the part about making the Acetone anhydrous, thus resulting in some yellow goo from the little bit of water left over.

SWIM plans on using baked epson salt to remove the water from the acetone in the future but was wondering if there was a way to make the yellow goo more snortable?

What would happen if SWIM put the Acetone mix of DMT and fumaric acid from the next batch on top of the yellow goo that is still stuck to the glass?

I realize the DMT fumarate isnt soluble in acetone but would it help it recrystalize at all?

what do people recommend?

Thanks

DMT fumerate is pretty heat stable so dry it in the oven or something, then if you scrape it up and add a tiny bit of water to it the DMT should disolve but the fumaric acid won't, then you can filter the solution and heat to evaporate very slowly and you should have some damn fine crystals.

So if i do that then the DMT will be separate from the fumarate? I want to make DMT fumarate so would i have to redo the tek properly once i have the crystals?

I was just refering o the loose DMT fumarate that didn't react. DMT Fumerate is water soluble, but fumaric acid is poorly water soluble, especially in cold water.
