hey wow check out this killer gaphic from a online story about an Alaska DMT "lab" bust

Does this obviously problematic quote from the story reflects a possible turn towards a more 'enlightened' view towards the molecule?
Quote:
...DMT manufacture is the synthesizing of the powerful drug that has been used for thousands of years by indigenous tribes of South America. The compound itself is otherwise known as the “Jesus Drug,” or “God Drug,” and many users of the compound say it is less hallucinogenic and more of a spiritual drug that enables the user the ability to enter a different dimension inaccessible to humans without the compound...

Quote:
from the story:
...people making the drug, the cooks, use many of the same materials to manufacture DMT that are used to manufacture Methamphetamine, many of those materials are hazardous...

Really? Wut? Like what, glassware? IDK what goes into the manufacture of everyone's favorite soul poison (IMO)- meth.

Quote:
from the story:
...Troopers have identified the suspect connected with the lab, they report that the individual has been arrested on unrelated probation and theft charges...

Again, really?

I'll take "Jesus Drug" over "businessman's LSD"

The fact that he was arrested in the past is no surprise. Maybe I'm wrong but I always assume that the DMT "labs" (a couple mason jars and a can of naptha lool careful guys) that get busted are operated by someone who has previously drawn attention to himself.

I like this article; apart from the weird "street names" all it does is state facts.

My money's on one of the Palin kids Big grin
“I sometimes marvel at how far I’ve come - blissful, even, in the knowledge that I am slowly becoming a well-evolved human being - only to have the illusion shattered by an episode of bad behaviour that contradicts the new and reinforces the old. At these junctures of self-reflection, I ask the question: “are all my years of hard work unraveling before my eyes, or am I just having an episode?” For the sake of personal growth and the pursuit of equanimity, I choose the latter and accept that, on this journey of evolution, I may not encounter just one bad day, but a group of many.”

My bet is fume complaints due to evaporating in the garage. I know there are a lot of meth labs in that area, so complaints about chemical odors are taken rather seriously.

Once upon a time ago, I lived there once. So this article actually strikes close to home. I think we should take a moment and hope it's not one of our members who got busted. The article did not state alot of things. It did not state if he was under investigation, or currently doing anything else wrong. It only said that it was a suspected meth lab and that could have been over anything. For all we know the guy got busted stealing a candy bar as a kid.

Anyway, let's give ourselves a moment of reflection to think about the things we do that endanger our liberty.

Then let's hope he hadn't just taken your recent "advice" to speed up evapping xylene with a hot water bath! Embarrased

No Bueno. Sad

The article said the lab was in a storage unit..... that kinda puts a different twist on the story. The cops could have been monitoring the place and seen a lot of traffic going in an out of that unit + funky smell = no good
Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.
