50g of acacia confusa bark
50g of caustic soda
50g of salt- non-ionized
50ml white distilled vinegar
~500ml distilled water
Place ground bark into your first mason jar, add about 200ml of water and go ahead and add 50-60ml of vinegar (trying to achieve a PH of 2) Place this mixture in a “warm” water bath for one hour, gently stirring.

While waiting on the hour to pass, go ahead and dissolve 50g of salt into a bit of water. The only point of this is so that you will not have to try to dissolve inside of the jar we are trying not to agitate to much.
After you have your dissolved salt, go ahead and slowly add it to the jar. Gently shake/swirl. Try not to make bubbles.
Next step is to add your lye(shooting for PH of 12 or higher). 50g of lye, add it to the water, not the other way around.
Then you are ready to add your organic solvent. Naptha is my choice, so slowly add about 50ml of that. Same shake/swirl method while in a warm bath. Repeat as needed ~4 runs then test the fifth by freezing it.

And upon doing this I should result in pure white crystal? Or am I missing a step? This is just something that I wrote up off the top of my head to check my understanding of the processes needed for a successful extraction. Anything that I am over looking or forgetting?

I have all glass everything so i am not chancing stripping plastics, or whatever lye does to aluminum.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Sounds about right. your basically doing cybs hybrid atb salt tek.

I'd reccommend using a thick glass measuring cup to make the basic solution & adding slowly while stirring. Produces less heat & not a thin glass jar, less tendency to shatter (you can make a basic solution separately, cool it down a bit, then add to the bark jar).

Product may come out a bit yellower depending on how much heat you use. But it can be cleaned up easily various different ways.

Mini a/b ala earthwalkers tek i hear works well. Personally i like fumarate conversions & re-basing for cleanup, but this is a bit more advanced, takes longer, & may be overkill for naphtha.
Full spectrum jungle spice it works wonders for though & it's a fun project Smile

Pretty much. It appears to the best one for ACRB that I have found.

Good idea about making that solution and adding as a liquid rather than a powder, sounds like this would minimize the risk by a great factor. You think I large mason jar would be good enough for this?

And should I try to be on the hotter, or cooler size when heating? And this tek would produce a powder correct?

And how hard is it to get a fumarate out of this? That is the most stable version correct?

Thanks for the tips. =)
