I started 2 50g extractions in separate jars yesterday.
I semi-followed cybs hybrid tek because it has worked so well in the past for me.
The only difference this time is i skipped the freeze thaws because i seem to get 2% yeilds evem with just heated acid soak + 12hr base soak & used limonene as a solvent rather than naphtha.

I decided to do one jar differently & see how things went.
The first jar i pulled in a 100°f heat bath after letting the jar heat for a couple hours.
The limo has gone yellow like urine. The first pull was separated & set aside in a clean jar & a second pull was started.
~20ml solvent was too close to the basic material to remove. The second pull is the same yellow color & shows no signs of darkening 5 separations & 12 hrs later.
However, i have the second jar sitting outside the heat bath. It's never been heated after the acid soak. Theres been ~75ml limo shaken 5 or 6 times & let separate, then it was left to settle for ~12hrs.
This solvent is taking on a white color.

It's not something i feel i should worry about, but i havn't read anything about this happening before & it seemed interesting.

i know color is not a very good indicator, but it seems like the white limo may have more spice & less impurities in it.

Initially pulls from both jars were going to be salted together & further cleaned up.
But now i'm inclined to salt them separately & see what the differences between the yeilds from both jars look like.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!
