I'd like to tell you an early child hood dream. It repeated for me for many years and would always catch me off guard. Any thoughts would be wonderful, I am open to hearing anything.

The child sleeps and at night, it dreams too. Black lines or rather waves run criss-cross out into the white. This is the backdrop of the dream-scape. It is black and white and 2 dimensional... othertimes, when waves are being shown, it's 3Dimentional. (think Windows 95 screensaver)

The waves are light, airy and carefree in their movements. Bouncing around on them is actually fun and easy. Laying in their cloud like pillows comforting a tired soul.

A row of flowers grows, its a 2D plane with black inked flowers growing vertically up a white wall. They're growing slowly but this is of no concern, then the scene changes. A cannon ball rolls into the left side, it is now rolling faster and faster and must be avoided. It crushes three of the flowers and slows to a stop on the ground. The black wavelines in the backdrop are more agitated, it looks like its about to rain; the waves dark and turbulent.

Another crash, we're out at sea this time, or so it seems. We're inside the wavelines. Bouncing amongst the waves in great peril of falling into the abyss, not cold or wet, but certainly full of fear.

A third cannon ball had appeared on the "beach" where the flowers were growing. There was 1 flower left. The ocean of waves so black and dark now, waking up would have been a great relief. This does not happen. Instead, a final cannonball whirls through the scape crashing into the 2D beach landscape crushing the last flower. Devastation tears through, and I know that my father has died. I wake up.

This dream occurs maybe 12 times in my life, with a heavy prominence in my childhood years (4 - Cool or so. It is the only one of its kind, and yes my father is alive today.

Thoughts?
