Hello dear Nexus. I would like to introduce myself to you all on this great Hallow's eve! And a big thank you for the wondrous amounts of knowledge and caring insight shared within this forum. Thumbs up

I began my journeys in hypersonicsuperspace about 2 years ago, beginning with SWIM's rich yellow spice in a small glass crack pipe. Oh the excitement! Nervous energy runs through the veins anytime SWIM handles the mysterious fluff.

Since the early exploration, SWIM started researching teks and began with an Acacia extraction. With unbelievable results in their first attempt, a steady process began in improving the tek.

SWIM is now exploring the realm of harmalas, harmaloids, and changa blends. Currently available to SWIM are: pau darco, calea zacatechichi, peppermint, passion flower, b. caapi leaf & vine, chaliponga, mugwort and skulcap.

Has anyone found a favorite combination of these common herbs ?

Considering the following:
1000mg leaf as: Pau d'arco (30%), Mugwort (30%), B. Caapi Leaf (40%)
1000mg spice
100mg harmalas

1000mg of leaf as: Passion Flower (50%), Chaliponga (25%), Peppermint (25%)
1000mg spice
200mg harmalas

1000mg leaf as: B. Caapi (75%), Chaliponga (25%)
1000mg spice

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

welcome! I started on a similar path with multiple ideas........one was just try each individually plain and see what you like to smoke best! Worth the thought, simple,is probably better to begin with.

I will say that I have really enjoyed Passion flower with pao mixed 50/50 then take that 1:1:1 with caapi leaf and molecule. That combo in daylight outdoors settings has consistently provided a very soft, feminine vibe with lots of pastel visuals in the pink and orange range........

Safe travels!

Thanks =) In the past changa blends of mint, mullein, b caapi vine and blue lotus were used, in varied amounts. However while still in testing, full 1:1:1 ratio was not observed, and small amounts made. Breakthrough with 3 bowls in a small bong. It was a very nice day time blend, and looked good in a long peace pipe.

I will try your blend @SynysterKyd, thanks. Were you doing extracts on the caapi leaf? And the pau that is available to SWIM is extremely hard and brittle, how would one use it for changa when found in this form?

I first tried the coffee grinder approach. That seemed to overly pulverize the pao, so my last batch I used a manual grinder which seems to provide a more smokable version of the pao.

Haven't found the need to do extractions yet on caapi, but I did just order some harmala off eBay to see what the heavier mixes can present. I've had some sensitivity to harmalas so taking that part slow........

The 10x caapi leaf extracts sound interesting. Some more leaf is en route, will update a report once some trials are done.

My personal favorite is changa made in a 1:1 ratio of DMT:Herb.

The herb mix consists of a rough 50/50 mix of mullein/caapi leaf. The caapi leaf is finely shredded and the mullein leaf is left as is because it already has a wonderful surface area (very similar to fluffy buds) for maximum absorption.

Then I throw in 280-300mg of extracted caapi vine harmalas, so a 280+mg harmalas to 1g of DMT.
Then once it's mostly dry, I then add a pinch of blue lotus for the aesthetic enhancement/contrast of color.

An amazing blend that i've stuck with for years, and has always delivered, and ultra potent.

I keep hearing about people using around 200-300mg harmalas in changa. When I made mine I used 1g DMT , 1g harmalas and 1 gram leaf. Is that too much harmalas?

I've yet to smoke it but I was under impression people usually used the same smlu for DMT and harmalas

Obviously everything discussed here is the fictional accounts of someone with an out there imagination. I mean really could any of these tales be real?

My favorite changa blend (to date) has been 1000mg herbs (500mg mint, 250mg passiflora, 250mg caapi leaf), 1000mg spice, and 300-500mg harmalas. Ott has tested harmaline to be active via the smoalked route of administration at doses as low as 1mg, so a lot of harmalas isn't really necessary to provide good effects. However, A heavy harmala content adds a special character to the changa which a smaller content does not. I usually find that the amount of DMT needed in changa to blast off is inversely proportional to the harmala content (i.e. more harmalas=less dmt needed and vice-a-versa). Ideally I'd have to say that having a 2:1 ratio of spice:harmalas should be ideal in a changa blend. However, I have heard of some members pushing the ratio up to 1:1 and beyond and having even better effects. The harmala content in your changa is a matter of personal preference and you and only you can know how much is good for you.

Al-Wasi, a 1:1:1 changa blend sounds fine! Just start off low (30-60mg smoalking blend) and work your way up! It's relatively impossible to OD from smoalked harmalas at that kind of a dosage and, if anything, a dosage such as that would mean that even less would have to be used to blast off.

It's changa, guys! Don't overthink it and you should be fine! Everyone finds a ratio which works for them eventually-just keep on having fun experimenting with different blends and ratios and enjoy the art of changa!

It's better to have things, and not be running out than it is to be running out and not be having things.

I highly reccomend freebase harmalas. It is interesting to vape freebase RIMAs then mix. I have knot scene my favorite herb to infuse mentioned in this thread yet. MULLIEN! It takes surprisingly little harmalas to effect the experience. CHANGA IMO is DEFINITELY where it's at.
