Anybody else ever try this sacred tobacco? I did it's very strong almost got shimmering vision from it with a nicer long lasting buzz, very nice compared to commercial tobacco. Anybody know a vendor for it I know 3 and only ordered from 1,but it was very weak more weak than a cig so maybe it needs to be fresh,or cured right.

Hey Kanna, keep us posted if you find good mapacho.
Smoking mapacho after you come back from hyperspace or during a ceremony is amazing.
Very powerful plant to conduct ones prayers...seriously...
I have one growing. Wish I had some more. It just started to flower!

Yes...might as well bring that up here considering most people have never heard of the singado and when I tell them they think I am rather insane :]
You can make a tobacco tea by just letting the dried leaf sit in water for a while. A day is usually sufficient. (Sun + Moon)
In the amazon, a lot of the shamans will drink this tea up their nose usually with sea shells before, during, and after their ayahausca ceremonies.
The effects are extremely powerful. I've never really known dose...I just use a little handful for a water bottle.
First time is really interesting :] but you get used to it after a while. I think it's a great way to work with this plant, and get to know it.
In the amazon, this plant is considered THE power plant.
It is the mother of ayahuasca. It is the carrier of prayer.
After working with these two medicines for a long time I have had direct experiences teaching me about the nature of consciousness and how I can actually move my thoughts and intentions through space/time.
Most people just smoke because they've designated this plant to carry away their stress.
It empowers the smoker...use wisely.

Some shamans are administered toxic levels of tobacco daily until a tolerance so high is reached, that they can consume massively entheogenic amounts of n. rustica without dying.

BBB has some very strong mapacho logs...it is stronger than their Rustica (thought they were the same)...but be careful, nicotine poisening is not hard to get smoking this stuff.

I have heard of snuffing tobacco tea...they really do it. I have done this before an aya cerimony (and during) it, for some reason, calms the experience down a bit.

Don't know...more than an oz, quite a bit more.

http://www.bouncingbearb...-tobacco-logs-p-210.html

I still am working on a log I got over a year ago. It is VERY strong stuff, please don't overdo it unless you really like throwing up and turning green.

Also, the log will need to be rehydrated. A damp papertowel in a ziplock with the log for a few days will work. Otherwise you have very dry, very crumbly, and very harsh tobacco.

A year wow I'm surprised it didn't mold did you keep it in the fridge? I chew and rarely smoke so I definitely already have a tolerance to tobacco.

Let me explain better.

I cut a chunk of the mapacho off and rehydrate it. The rest stays bone dry and won't mold. When my hydrated mapacho is running low I'll pull/cut some more off and hydrate it.

I smoke daily, Sad and dip occasionally, but 2 full cigarettes of this stuff had me green as a fir tree.

I just tried a singado. The idea seemed pretty weird to me at first - snorting tobacco tea. I sliced the end of a mapacho log I got recently and boiled in a cup of water and then let it cool down. Snorted just one teaspoon.
The effects are real nice. Clears up the sinuses, gives nice gentle rushes and clear head. Slight shimmering vision also. Does burn a bit at first but not for too long. Curious to try this with Aya and Spice. Been reading a lot this eve about the power of tobacco...
Thanks people !

No shame in a little dip now and then it may cause cancer if overdone safer than smoking IMO . Folks say it is gross because of spitting that may be true I dont spit I swallow the juice and sometimes the tobacco as well. A good salvia/tobacco combo will kick your ass real good and is not for the faint hearted to say the least.

I used to smoke cigs heavy but even after quitting I have a very high tolerance for tobacco even if I use 4 times in a month. I should also add a saftey tip tobacco drinks could kill you if you dont regullary use tobacco it can make you sick as shit. Shamans who use tobacco ALONE go thru hell to get to the point of "seeing sprits" is is not a fun ride but is a helper for me

And yes N glauca contains no nicotine as stated but contains anabasine some say it may help you quit smoking but for me the effects are indistinguishable from those of nicotine, so I not sure about these claims, quiting nicotine addiction beginning anabasine addiction.

Keep in mind that modern man is a tobacco abuser(I am was) lung cancer ect.......but this was not a issue in the past.

There are tribe in Amazon that chew/dip tobacco all day every day I have often wondered about the incidence of cancer among them. Perhaps the jungle takes them home before cancer can manifest itself.

For most it will make hyperspace a much kinder place if done in advance simply because a strong tobacco trip has so many unpleasant aspects and WILL put you thru the GRINDER. This is the way it was once commonly used So if you can survive and find value in a it Hyperspace will be far less threatening.

Get the puke bucket ready.........Laughing

Thats no big deal to us at the NEXUS
We are true seekers happy to pay any price
For a fleeting glimpse.

I dont get those but thats me! nicotine and such been running thru my veins into my brain for decades just as shamans in many areas of Mexico where the first discovered salvia D. was found.

No proof they used the combo that I know of but we know the real universal story.........Laughing yep laughing again!

It is a weed in the southern US. You can find it yourselfWink
