Hi, I just happened to have some sort of opportunity. Tomorrow, I'll have the church for myself for the whole afternoon. now, I'm not saying that I'll do it tomorrow (I may have other opportunities like that again in the future), but how of a setting it would be? Can you picture yourselves breaking through in the middle of a church? Did you, yourselves, had the opportunity to blast off in an unusual setting? I'd love to read some stories here ![Pleased](/forum/images/emoticons/happy.png)

Not to come off as your new stalker, hadoq...but....you are a real tease you know that? Get to it already As for setting - why not, if you are really undisturbed. I had "god" experiences on DMT before ..and there has been this one famous study about psychedelicsa in church settings... In my experience, setting is almost unimportant if the dose is high enough because you won't see reality anyways....

It would be an interesting experiment. Personally i think in a buddhist temple would be more interesting. Or on top of a pyramid. Maybe the sphinx? When someone says "church" i picture a building that is a waste of land. "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

Putting the religions often associated with them aside (which often do have curious roots that degraded into dogma over time), I honestly would love to trip in some churches. The architectural beauty can be incredible as it is, but even more powerful when viewed in altered states. I wouldn't smoke DMT in one though unless I was 100% positive that no one could interrupt me.

Pretty tough to sit/stand on top of a pyramid lol. If this church is somewhere you feel safe, comfortable, and undisturbed then I think it would be perfect. If the reason to do it is "lol drugs in a church" you probably won't have a good time. Not saying you are going into it like I don't think you are. https://en.wikipedia.org.../Marsh_Chapel_ExperimentFor the right person, I think it could help catalyze an extremely profound experience. Regardless of whether you buy into the dogma or not, just being in church, where hundreds or thousands of people have spent hours thinking big thoughts, puts you in a somewhat spiritual state of mind. I, personally would love to trip in an old Catholic cathedral like Notre Dame. Even though I'm not a Christian, I think it could be a very moving experience. That sounds great. High ceilings and stained glass in the house of God. Who knows you may create some shift or new energy up in there
And yeah all those people and their big thoughts and prayer, all that intention counts for something. Creates an environment

I guess when i pictured church i also pictured a small town church rather than an extravagant one with murals and stained glass. A cathedral would def setup an interesting mindset. "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

it's one of those centennial churches you have all around in europe.
they let me the key because I'm in the choir and next sunday I'm gonna fill in for the organist so I need to practice in advance.
I was raised christian but I'm over/beyond that today, I have a strong personal faith and spiritual life, but the christian part of me is more for the vocabulary than anything else.
I like to relate to bible readings too (and make my own interpretations) and of course, being involved musically is a way to give back.
