I've recently been considering whether or not having processed sodium, and other electrolyte deficiencies might effect the quality of entheogenic experiences. It seems like a common sense thing to stay hydrated and maintain proper nutrition going into these experiences, but 80% of American's are potassium deficient.
I've recently started using Himalayan pink salts, and supplementing magnesium and potassium. I intend on drinking some aya in a couple weeks to test my theory, although each experience is highly subjective, I hope to find that supplementing my electrolyte intake will have a positive effect on my trip. I'll report back come mid November with the reults.
