As I stated in my introduction, my first OBE happened several years ago. It sure was very short, yet I could still be conscious of many things simultaneously.

Ill start with mine describing its main perceived characteristics.
The whole feeling of reaching the other planes is entirely different than the physical, "everyday" experience for many reasons:

-Perception: My perception got "enhanced" enough for me to be able to experience an enormous variety of stimuli. (being negative at that time)
-Lightness: Being able to fly through matter, even my own body.
-Astral dialogue: a universal language is spoken outside the body, a language everyone understands flawlessly. Messages may be symbollic, I've received messages from entities while in my physical body from entities who manifest in my mind with very enigmatic and sometimes poetic aphorisms and some of them were reminiscent of riddles, like those of the Sphinx.
Spirits/Entities also "scream" much louder than anything you could ever hear in the physical plane, yet its manifested in a telepathic way instead of sonic.
-Perfect senses: Flawless vision/perception of surroundings. (360 degree view)
Repeating some of these aphorisms myself almost make me feel like the greek philosopher Heraclitus. I do not remember them specifically.
-Ear buzzing: Usually occurs when in sleep paralysis, before the projection. Some attribute this phenomenon to an audible change of frequency in the consciousness. The first time it happened to me I also opened my eyes to see my body lay still and paralized. My eyeballs started to move sideways at great speeds... I couldnt figure out what that was.

These are all the items I can describe first hand, since my OBE was extremely short due to the fact that I almost inmediately returned to my body when I projected, since I was back then unaware of said capability, among other things. The Astral Dialogue one is partly based on the OBE and also on recent channelings.

PS: I'd like to add on a side note, that Hyperspace, AP or any kind of mind travelling experience remind me to Plato's "Allegory of the Cave", as basically I feel the physical plane is the cave, full of shadows and silhouettes from another place, and the trip that takes you outside it is the real, outside world. Psychedelics and meditation set you free from the chains...
