So apparently the internet is out of powdered MHRB, so I REMOVED some shredded stuff and did a couple 30g experiments.

Experiment 1:
Q21Q21 lime tek with shredded (fibres about 1-2mm x 10-20mm)
Same method as I always use.
Results so far = nada

Experiment 2:
Marsifold tek with shredded (larger fibres, no coffee grinder used)
3 boils for 30 min each, about 500ml per boil
Reduced to ~400ml
Pulled w/ ~75ml naptha

And I've found what tek I'm gonna use for the rest of the bark!

Here is a pic of the first pull from my big batch. I'm gonna salt the rest out with vinegar, (probably 5-6 naptha pulls then a couple stinky xylene pulls) so no more pretty crystal pics after this one.

If you're not getting results from you're TEK why ??? & when you say 30g first pull are you saying 30 gram bark or 30g FB ?

Huh? He didn't mention yield yet, and there was 30g of bark used for each experiment.

A lime drytek may work on this SHREDDED BARK, just much slower than the lye A/B tek.

The q21q21 tek (not my tek per se, but a complilation) works super fast and very well on POWDERED BARK, with up to 25% yield in only 2-3 hours. But not so quickly on the shredded bark.

I'm doing my 3rd pull from the 460g lye batch in a couple hours, but I have the 30g lime tek still sitting here, I'll do a pull from it at the same time and see if it just took a bunch longer for the lime to work on the shredded bark.

I must say the lime TEK does produce much prettier xtals !

I also have to chime in and say that I've used the lime tek on shredded mimosa and had incredible quick and large yeilds... Granted it was pretty finely shredded, but nothing that I'd consider powdered.
