greetings and salutations I would like to say hi to this wonderful community in hopes I can find what I'm looking for. I've recently been on a spiritual journey to expand, explore and understand my consciousness. growing up in New York and at my age of 27, my friends think I'm crazy but I consider myself awakening. I have had experiences with psychedelics but not with dmt. I am currently trying to learn more about it and spirit willing hopefully experience it for the first time soon with a shaman. but it's been hard finding information locally in such busy city, hoping to meet like minded individuals that can lead me on the right path.

Im from the north east aswell just outside a major city. Most of my free spirited friends moved away in there mid 20's, a number of them went to Arizona. My friends now are great, but i quickly learned to keep my mouth shut about things we talk about here. They can keep getting smashed drunk doing there coke poping pain meds if thats what makes them happy. Im done with that for the most part.

I dont know what to tell you, but it seems best to just learn to extract yourself and smoke from time to time. Its a never ending journey and a trip to some shaman may or not be worth it.

I know what it's like to not have likeminded people around you locally - I lived in a city like that for a long time and got very frustrated with my surroundings in this aspect. But not everyone needs to understand your path and your choices, nor does everyone need to be informed about everything you chose to do in order to move along on this path. It's nice to have support of those that surround you, or even experienced people that can guide you a bit, but sometimes the challenge of going at it alone and discovering these mysteries, discovering the right path by yourself is even more rewarding.
