And how did I get here?

Hello everyone! I have been going though a lot of changes and my journey has led me here. Here is are the cliff notes to my life.
I have some crazy chronic pancreatitis thats due to a genetic mutation.
My pancreas gets taxed very easily and doesn't go well with my anxiety issue I have when I am overwhelmed with the weight of all the people who rely on me and my business to put food on their table. This anxiety causes my fight or flight response to be tripped and adrenalin to be dumped followed by pancreas passing out. All in all it a multi week gig that leave my in the ER for anti nausea meds and a ton of fluids.
Years later (this year) I finally found that only thing that seems to work for my anxiety is meditation.
Meditation lead me to Buddhism
Buddhism let me to minimalism
Minimalism made my life a lot simpler and less stressful along with giving me the focus of focusing on the things that truly matter.
I gave away lots of stuff and Sold all my stuff with lots of value (lots of cars ect)
That led me to spend ample quality time with my 2yr old daughter and wife. It also led me to have the ability to pay off my house.
No house payment lead to needing less from my business and lots of time off for friends, family and things that add true value to my life.
With this time I came across a sensory deprivation tank and it's awesomeness.
Bought a tank and while doing research on tanks I came across a guy name Joe Rogan.
Watched a video or two of him and his float tank , one of which he mentioned DMT.
Read up on DMT and became fascinated with its results and the fact that we make it naturally.
The following day I was Meditating and during a focused session I started thinking about how the hell do I trick my body into releasing this stuff I already make while I am awake.
That was a bust.
Which turned into : How do I extract this stuff out of everything around me, which seemed to be the more interesting route.
Now I am here, and thankful for all this free, positive, honest and soul soothing information all put into one place, which seems to be expressed in a way that has changed my thoughts on what a good forum is and does. My fear of psychedelics which was hammered into my brain as a child has be eased and it is now just another relic of the fact that people pass-on bad information and fear things that are extreme or don't mix with their given religion. My passport is empty as of right now but I look forward to understanding, separating and experiencing a compound with such amazing honesty.
To everyone who has contributed to this group , thank you.

Welcome down to earth. Or should I say welcome up to hyper space Laughing ...

Your intro kinda reminded me of a TED talk I watched a while back, I think it was this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XRPbFIN4lk

seems like you've done something of what he's talked about and it's good to de-clutter. good luck, welcome and be well.
Eckhart saw Hell too. He said: "The only thing that burns in Hell is the part of you that won't let go of life, your memories, your attachments. They burn them all away. But they're not punishing you", he said. "They're freeing your soul. So, if you're frightened of dying and... you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth."

Nice!! How long do you meditate for a day?

Honestly I'm lucky if I get 30, most of the time it's in the am before the kiddo awakes. The nice thing about doing it in the morning is you can snatch a couple breaths during the day that help keep you calm and on track.

I find morning meditation to be best for me.. It allows me to stay meditative throughout the day, or at least the majority of the day. Many of my friends and family have begun to meditate as well, so this creates a great atmosphere. I'm also so glad to see parents meditating, it truly is creating a better future for the children and everyone. Thumbs up

Welcome Down to earth!

I find the process of down-sizing very liberating. Like taking weight of your shoulders.

GL to you!

Thanks .
I find it fun to think about how the world would be different if everyone just gave themselves 30 min a day.
