I finally decided to join the community.
First I would like to thank you all for informations and help I was able to find here.

I actually used to hang around here a year ago as I was trying to do my first extraction.
After failing twice with q21q21's tek (crystals were melting once out of the freezer, no matter what. I couldn't find any solution, whether here or somewhere else but nevermind) I kind of gave up with experimenting dmt.
2 weeks ago, during a festival, I met that guy who ended up giving me a bit of it (about 60 mg), for later use, as he had nothing to smoke it.

I guess we can say dmt found me .

Anyway this just made me want to try again extracting my own stuff (I still had everything needed for it), which I successfully did this time .
No breakthrough yet (voluntarily for the beginning ) but some really nice buzz/feelings and visuals.

I've had best results by (instead of using a fan), using the exhaust of a dehumidifier, pointed at the inside of my container (after pouring off the solvent).

No discussion on selling, buying, sourcing, acquiring, pricing, trading, mentioning pending deliveries or smuggling of drugs

It's a bit weird, I came to conclusion that my MRHB were not so good as I recently sucessfully extracted some, with bark coming from another source, using the exact same process.

But nevermind, it was a year ago

Congrats on your recent successful extraction! Next time you run into an issue, don`t give up, it can always be saved if you don`t throw anything away. In the case of melting crystals, the FAQ suggestion is good, otherwise last case scenario you can always simply redissolve in alcohol and evaporate onto some herbs for some nice changa/enhanced leaf mixture which will be perfectly active.

Did you consider trying DMT orally too? What`s your method of smoking?

I actually tried all suggestions from FAQ at that time regarding my melting crystal. No matter what, crystal always melt into a white goo.
That white goo ended up drying after more than a week but it was still smelling solvent (which does evaporate without letting anything left). I threw some it because I was a bit scared to smoke it but also kept some in a jar with solvent

It was like 10 months ago (I kind of forgot I still had this ). It turns out the goo has now a brown color. Do you think I can do something with this ? (I think I read I could dissolve it in heptane but this product is pretty of hard to find where I'm living)

I'm using a classic vaporgenie with copper mesh inside as I read it is one of the best options. It requires some practice to get used to it but I am pretty happy with it (I don't have anything to compare with though)

I didn't consider doing DMT orally yet. I would like to breakthrough first by smoking it to see what's going on over there
