hello nexians, a while ago i saw a thread with instructions on how to brew ayahuasca with a shorter brew time, i believe it was under an hour or 3x30min and required more plant material. i tried digging through some older posts but could not find it.

the plants i will be using is mhrb and ayahuasca vine. thanks for any suggestions.

Using an acid like white vinegar (which boils off to some degree during the reduction phase) is said to increase solubility, which would probably lead to a decrease in necessary cooking time.

If you use extra vine, and cook it shorter, just make sure to keep the plant material afterwards for further extraction.

You probably already know, but you're also supposed to boil the mimosa separately due to the toxic sediment that falls out.

Oh?! I hadn't read that anywhere. Does the same go for acacia? I'm not sure this applies for me, as I prefer pharma, but it's still good to know things.

Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

lol there is no toxic sediment in a mimosa brew.
i think you may have misinterpreted some info pertaining to fining out tannins from a mimosa brew.
