Watching movies/tv is really an incredibly bizarre experience when in the medium ground.

This thread has a couple of people who talk about it, it's very creepy and it seems almost emotionally interactive. It seems like you are the focus of the thing you are watching, or at least, at some point, you wonder if the expository monologues of documentaries are specially aimed at you hearing it and making associations, and I somehow always perceive a bit of mischief.... I tend to lean towards paranoia, though. It's a focal point I am working on in life. But I digress.

I think it's also clear that there are different groups who choose to experience things in different ways. Some like the medium ground, some like the full blast. I think that it's subjective in so many ways, and undefinable in so many ways. I always want to bolster conversations about whether everything needs to be all Alex Grey and voodoo sacred geometry. I think that one person's pointless is another person's passion. Looking at TV may seem like it's counterproductive, but there are many experiences that people like to augment wherein others would call that sacrilege. I think that's kind of missing the point of mind expansion, personally, but to each his own. Everything is fascinating.
