so i know that strassman's hypothesis over the (possible) endocrinous production of nn-dmt in the brain/pineal gland is far from being proved right or wrong for now but yesterday, before sleep, i experienced the visualization of a blurry - but familiar - set.

i'm posting this in order to get a better insight over what was really happening. maybe some of you guys have experienced this before or know something about it. feel free to answer back with your own 2cents!

so..

after a few good bowls over the night i was quite relaxed. my gf was tired and went to sleep. since it was already late i decided to join her and try to, at least, rest for a while.
i wasn't that sleepy at the time but haven't been sleeping so well lately so i figured i could at least enjoy some hours of rest in a comfortable bed with my girl.
time passed by until there was no time at all. i wasn't getting any sleep and stood still with my eyes closed while thoughts kept running through: fast, disperse, absurd.. reminding me of previous mental visualizations on L. they kept on showing up and, literally, morph into other thoughts(images) like somekind of a cartoon until they just ceased. seemed like after a while they just gave up since i was not focusing much on thought (i reached for the dark walls my closed eyes were facing in order to smooth the my mind's distress).

i entered a meditative state as the mental imaginery completely stopped. all this nonsencencial ideas vanished into a deeper stage of sleep in which i was awake.
since astral projection has been a subject of interest of mine for a while (with just a few short grasps of personal experiences) i was aware that this was a good time to go further. with a clear mind now, eyes still closed and a familiar body sensation (past the tingly, where you just don't feel nor can't even realize where your arms/legs are laying) i remained still. no thoughts, no nothing, just an imense void of blackness.

and then it starts.
for a few seconds i watched that absolute darkness change into a set of golden doors.
i opened my eyes - confused - and realized i was actually facing the doors of my closet(which are white).
didn't know if it was really an out-of-body experience or just the recurrence of thought but it didn't really had much to do with the somewhat ridiculous, constantly changing images i was getting before.
closed my eyes again and there was dark. then the dark slowly changed into a less saturated background with geometrical patterns of all kind. i let it be, kept still and observed. from nowhere it drastically changed color into a strong bright purple. neon-like.
this is where i get my questions at. the background patterns did not change, just it's color. that purple remained strong, coloring all that beautiful geometry floating around. after a bit it changed into a spectrum of multicolored surfaces, i remember the green and yellow making they're way, strongly, into my eyes too.

i was really calm and enjoying the "show". the opposite of what i usually feel in attempts of astral projections (anxiety and confusion keep on bringing me back).
so what was all of this? i've got some blurry cev's before sleep with some previous smoalked bowls but not anything so strong and sharp.
