Hi beautiful people, i dont really know what to say here but if you have questions about me, dont hesitate to ask. Basically, ive used dmt in the past mainly recreationally, then on a very spiritual basis, suffered a bit of pre-flight anxiety over the years due to wanting too much insight too soon, nowdays im mainly interested in aya and pharma in ritual or traditional type setting and purpose. i havent really touched any drugs in atleast a year due to my own recovery and just a general slow down and re-scoping of their purpose and place in my life. (i had a bit of a scare with some tropane alkaloids)

I have some knowledge in most areas (im no expert) and I know what works for most common things like cacti, mushrooms, lsa, salvia. I generally dont have any interest in anything thats not organic, my main focus is to be as close to natural as possible. flavor is important. I wouldnt say that i have any favorites but dmt is very special, though everything has its time and place.

So moving along to who i am. im in my early or mid 20's and I live in australia. i have alot of interest in science, philosophical and spiritual subjects. I aim to further our understanding on who we are, what we are doing and where we came from. In my opinion it is a pre-requisite of sanity to be certain (subjectively) of atleast 1 of these 3 things.
I know that someones going to decide wether or not to read this by its length, so ill leave it there.

stay lovely

Hello, glad to have you here Smile

Is it really true that when on salvia you forget that you are on salvia? Like, is it impossible to remember that fact?

No it's not impossible but when you realize you are "on salvia"

That whole concept of being on a plant is utterly strange.
And welcome to the nexus Curb!

thanks guys. my salvia experiences have been very spiritual and important to me. its just a shame that you get tolerance, or maybe i didnt store it right XD its just very hard to get salvia in australia, but id love to quid it someday. i first read your question ich i thought "no, you always know youre on salvia, its brutal" but actually yeah, i mean, immersed in some tribal scene with entities greeting me from my conveyor belt lifepod I wasnt aware i was on a drug, you do kind of go somewhere else, like a dream but with a dark spiritual twist.

Hello Curb, and welcome to the nexus.

I was just wondering if you would give us some detail about "I had a bit of a scare with some tropane alkaloids".

I've been reading a little about Datura Here. and it persuaded me (even-more-so) to not ever use Datura.

well its funny you mention datura, as thats one of the first 'psychadelics' (if you could consider it that) i attempted to obatain when i was alot younger. after being pursuaded and talked around to why i DO NOT want to touch the stuff i was sent some seeds and proceeded to pass on the safety message. and i even met someone who told me how fucked it was to experience a delusion.

Now, just some background on the plant and why i took it. the plant is called 'Pituri' and is used by aboriginals to walk for days on end with no food or water by sending them delerious, they've used it for thousands of years, so the history books say (tradionally it is quided with acicia ash). I dont know exactly why we smoked it, or for what reason we collected it but i had (cut a long story short) been abusing a range of drugs after emotional issues, alot of death in the family and quitting work for a year.

so, im fairly quirky as it is, like to trip people out with new concepts or wacky ideas, and i meet this aboriginal guy and smoke some changa with him and we get talking about tribal elders and initiation and that they'd be able to tell me more about pituri (the tribal elders) as its a very perculiar plant in the way it grows in certain places. in short i try to quit smoking cigarrettes and run out of money within this 1 week, so.... this pituri having a high nitcotine content is the next best thing to weed and smokes. (btw its the easiest herb to rip out of a bong, but cannot light it in a rollie)

I'd smoked a little bit of this stuff as spin for my weed already, but now thats all i had, so im a little bit gone already at this stage without even knowing it, so i keep taking the occasional toke to keep my cravings at bay. within a few days of this i began feeling a little bit sick, working on my brocken car i couldnt focus, i felt as if i didnt keep moving or doing SOMETHING i would run out of purpose and die, i was seeing symbols in the sun, smoking imaginary cigarettes, drinking my own piss. It was, as i saw it: a very spiritual realisation or awakening and i had acute senses to everything and everyone. i got put on diazapam (blackouts) and no improvement and then i was taken to a mental institutuion quite a distance away (small country town) and spent 3 months+ in there. worst time of my life.

moral of the story: tropanes have a massive length of effect and WILL build up, tropanes are dangerous and should ONLY be used within a specific culture/tradition with a trained shaman who has experience with such deadly poisons.

Love the title of your thread. I to have learned this from experience. During my honeymoon period I smoalked multiple times a day, everyday, for several weeks. That period of my life feels like a dream which I have since forgotten. These days, I take a more sacramental approach to psys. We live and we learn. Thanks for being here, Lovin' you!! -xElverkonge
