Does anyone know if there is a tek that uses acidic alcohol to pull alkaloids? I was thinking of using 40% vodka with 5% vinegar and letting that soak long enough for the ethanol from the vodka to evaporate out, and then i was going to proceed with the tek as if it were a regular a/b. Does anyone have any experience using an acidic alcohol soak?

There are a few old ones about that use alcohol or methanol at the start only a small amount of water is required to keep the acidic water in solution.
After a freeze-thaw a solution of hot ethanol and acetic/tartric acid would make light work of extracting the alkaloids.
It is a good way to reduce the volume of solution used as once youve macerated the plant material and decanted then further reduction can be made until its a super concentrated syrup.
Much much less lye/base used to base and you could saturate for freeze precip easily using a hot NPS. Or pull and re-salt to clean it up and reduce even further.
Endlessness has a tek using ethanol and vinegar that seemed to work well.
