Hi friends! First, I'm not completely sure if this belongs in the fun section or not. The topic seems fun in my head, so I thought some other people may think it is fun.
Purely hypothetical:
So, genetics are a fun thing. They encode and determine our existence, but can and will mutate to adapt to internal and external stimuli - Passing the adaptation down when genetics are passed.
It can be hard to believe that the organized sequence of a few molecules can create all of this that we see today. Think about it... The arrangement of a few molecules have such a powerful message that they create us... molecules... Their message says life.
I got to thinking. Genetics of a plant determine the alkaloids that it contains. Genes are messengers telling an organism how to respond.
The hypothetical part: if genes are messengers, and they create messengers(alkaloids- molecules that are so similar to neurotransmitters(messengers) that they automatically find neurotransmitter receptors in our brain), then could the messages we get during our experiences have influence from the genes of the plant that the molecules were previously a part of?
Far fetched? Probably for some. Maybe for myself, even. BUT, the whole reason i wonder about this stems from the difference in experience between batches. I've had a few batches that created a story within the breakthroughs.
I went out to the woods to my special spot. I took about 300mg with me and blasted off until the vial was empty. Each time, I would go back to where I left off from the previous launch.
This has happened a few times, now. If I blend one batch with a different batch, the experience changes. If I keep the batches separate, then I can continue to revisit topics. When I'm done with a topic, I blend it with another batch that I'm done with, and createa new story, or give it away to one of my 4 friends.
To add, I have quite an imagination. There is little fact behind my suspicions, and no possible way to gain empirical evidence from some yahoo who plays in the woods jumping around on rocks, pretending to hear stories from plants... oye.
Lol
Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.
