hello, fellow dmt enthusiasts.
i am someone who has seen much allure in altered states of consciousness since about thirteen. i can't say this hasn't taken me down some occasional wrong forks in the road, but i feel pretty good about my recent turn onto dmt street.
someone gave me some about 2 years ago and i only got minor effects, but about 3 months ago i managed to get a lot more and since then have had what i would call minor break throughs a couple of times.
it's hard to say what they were since they are so amazing that i don't even care if i remember them and i'm usually too deep in thought to try to explain what i'm thinking to a recorder - i don't want to interrupt the flow with trying to say it out loud i guess.
yet i feel like each time i do it i remember the experience better - particularly when the dmt first hits me. it's always like 'oh yeah.. i remember this.'
i try to go into my trips with the attitude of wanting to learn from it, and so far i think it has worked out, as i have a much greater appreciation for the stunning power of the brain and consciousness to facilitate and handle what i can only hope is the most intense and amazing psychedelic experience. if there is anything stronger than dmt, i would have to be towards the end of the line in trying it.
i experimented with lower doses yesterday and felt like it was trying to help me sort out a recent problem, but i still am not very good at controlling the experience and the window for that problem quickly closed.
i really feel like marijuana might be interfering with my fully experiencing and remembering the dmt, although i haven't found anyone else in my few searches online who reports similar feelings that i can remember. i know marijuana is given to vets with ptsd to help them 'not dream' - which i guess means not experience them as intensely or remember them? i would be interested if anyone else has noticed a correlation between marijuana and dmt experience clarity/memorability.
thanks for reading.
