I get that creamy thing when I make my pulls > 60ºC it's actually quite a pain to deal with.

I happen to keep a sample of it, actually I saved the residue that you are talking about but after the extraction was complete I doubt there's any DMT left in it because I had the expected yield, here's a picture:

 

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

It could be dmt and other alks that have fell out after the solvent has cooled, keep it and try to mix into new hot solvent.

Can you give us a little more information on your extraction? What was the source material? Which tek did you follow? Things like this might help us to diagnose your problem.

My first impulse is to say siphon off the top layer for precipitation, and try doing a mini-nonpolar solvent pull on the aqueous solution with the "creamy" layer on top. If some or all of it dissolves in your solvent, it is probably DMT. If it doesn't, it probably is not.
