SWIM has been looking into a lot of methods for vaping freebase and has come up with the pipe in the pictures attached.

The design is very similar to the inspirator mkii but focused on looking really clean and efficient.

The white disc is a ceramic flavor disc that is just over 11.1mm in diameter. Found some pyrex tubing online that was 11.1mm in diameter as well, so the disc fits very snugly in the tubing. Placed a bit of steel screen one side of the disc (between the disc and glass) to give it a little more grip.

For the element superwool ceramic fiber is being used along with 2 steel screens. It took a few hours to get something that looked clean and plugged the end well. There is a decent bit of fiber in the element even though it doesn't look like it. It seems to crush/compress extremely easily.

The air flow seems just about perfect, not too easy and not too difficult.

SWIM has actually never taken DMT but is preparing for an upcoming extraction.

Would something like this work well?

Edit: Just a thought--the whole tube isn't pictured, but it is 12" long. The only points of interest are the element and the flavor disc.

There are a lot of comments on this website that say flavor discs do a really great job, so SWIM wanted to make something that uses one in an aesthetic way.

Going to keep working on the element for a while until its perfect.
