I was linked to this by a friend today and thought I would share it here. It is a great documentary made by the Ntional Film Board of Canada in 2002, and I am not sure it has ever been linked to here. It is a "who's who" and a history of LSD, but also touches on psychedelics in general. Worth the time!

HOFFMAN'S POTION

JBArk
JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I just watched this today by coincidence. It is worth the time. I was aware of the who and what of almost all of it, but to hear them speak and put it into their own words is... Special. Definitely worth watching. Highly recommended.

Great film!..
They should bring LSD research back ..or even make it leagle for adult use anywhere including the USA!
Instead they.. [the government]..keeps alcohol 100 percent leagle?
I dont know why LSD was made illeagle concidering all the good results it could produce in many peoples lives..
I feel LSD may have the ability to keep your mind young.. regardless of your ageing body over time..
Dr Tim Leary was one example of a man with a ..[free mind].. that showed a youth fullness and courage even in the last months ..days ..hours of his life..
He even looked forward to the death experiance with a wink in his eye because he knew something that gave him peace..
His last trip shortly before passing was with DMT and he loved the beauty he saw..
His last death bed words were ..WHY NOT?
To be able to see ones world in a new light is a beautyfull thing..!

Hofmann's Potion is a wonderful documentary.

The creator, Connie Littlefield, recently received 100% of the funding she needed to complete her next film, Better Living through Chemisty, which is basically about underground LSD chemistry, from what I can tell.

On a related note, Kman1898 on The Shroomery is in the process of writing a comprehensive report on the history of LSD production. So far he's provided a lot of information on the topic in two threads on The Shroomery:

Early days of black market lsd

St. Maarten LSD lab linked to US

And a documentary on LSD came out just recently called The Substance: Albert Hofmann's LSD. It's rich with historical footage, including hidden camera CIA footage of people who were dosed.

I have got the substance it is a good film I thought it was a bit better that Albert Hoffman's potion. Hoffman comes across as Simone who really understands life. He also has a really nice ergot paperweight I wanted to make one after seeing the film.
