Hello, everyone.
Let me start with saying I'm terrible at introductions.
With that out of the way, I'm Res. And I'm... Curious. About a lot of things. Up until four years ago, I barely touched alcohol under the assumption that all things psychoactive or similar were 'bad'.
Then I smoked weed for the first time. I've not ventured into anything more 'extreme', but I've certainly been interested. I'm a big Tool fan, and reading into a lot of their subject matter helped bring me to where I am today.
I've seen so many people discuss the short and long-term effects of DMT, listening with GREAT focus to all of Terrence McKenna's lectures and talks, and Graham Hancock's testimony at a TEDxWhitechapel discussion.
But listening and hearing only does so much. I've waited, thought, deliberated, and fought the idea, but I find myself on a "Need-to-know" viewpoint when it comes to whatever is on the other side of what I'm seeing and experiencing at this present moment.
I'm not seeking the experience for fun, or "Why the hell not?" motives. I'm looking to learn, and to possibly come to understand myself and others more closely through this experience. And I believe knowledge is the best preparation and defense against less than desirable experiences.
And I believe that I've found a place to really truly prepare me for what I'm ready to do.
I hope to learn from you all, and in time, hopefully be able to return some of my own information about these kinds of things.
