Good day Nexus, where shall i start?

I was first introduced to DMT back when I was 16. I had just moved across the country to a new home with my parents. I soon began making new friends at my school. I was into smoking pot and was in my early stages of doing so. So I intentionally sought out people with similar interests. I found one of my life long best friends at my new school. One day he came over after school and listened to some music on my computer. He noticed a song called, DMT and he asked me to play it. I opened the file and we listened to this very strange track play. It wasn't very musical. It sounded like a soundtrack to an alien movie. It was very strange, and unsettling. My friend asked me if I knew what DMT was. I had no clue. He informed me that it was one of the most powerful psychedelics known to man. From that point on, I always had a fascination with DMT. I felt that I probably would never get the chance to encounter such a rare chemical in my life.

During my junior year in high school, I experimented with shrooms, weed, and a few other substances. Senior year in high school I stopped taking all drugs. I did horrible in school. I was unmotivated. College came and I spent several years failing community college. I had no ambition to find a career. I was fine living at home with my parents. Eventually my parents moved again and left me at home. I met a woman and started dating, and realized that if I wanted to keep her around, I would need to make something of myself. I went back to school and earned a degree. I am now working and still with my girlfriend. I still keep in touch with my friend from the past. We both have long stopped using substances. However, we still felt like there was something missing. I told him that I had been reading a lot about ayahuasca and its deep healing properties. We both had this instinctual feeling that aya could be useful for our current stage in life. Eventually, the opportunity presented itself. We will be taking the journey this weekend. I hope to have more to write about after my experience.
